Treasures was not bad but they were quite "aggressive".


Any hook up for pool parties? Reviews for Wet Republic says that sometimes it's a 3 hour wait, $50 cover, $30 drinks...

We will have rental cars as transportation if that helps :D
Staying at Aria.

Went to OG with some friends last time, and good times were had by all.

Dancers were hot
Staff was good

No complaints from our end

I went to Rhino last time and it was great, but I also went to Sapphire before too.... tons of celebrities last time I went :D was a fun experience.

I want to hit up a gun range when I'm down there, and the first place that comes to mind is "The Gun Store". Seems pretty popular, anyone else been? Worth it? Or any other places I should check out?

just came back from 6 days at encore. never had to leave the resort XS was amazing every night. Servers there are 11/10's elbows not even pointy. staff was all super nice. If you like abit of upper class this is my #1 choice by far right now. The gym in the building was awesome to weights up to 80 and tons of machines, was very surprised.

So what's the best way to book flight and hotel?

A lot of friends go through allegiant air but is it really worth it? Read the most recent thread about it and it has me thinking.

What are your ways to go to Vegas?

I like to fly there using alaska or allegiant and then fly back with westjet.
As for booking hotels, I just use their poker rate or sometimes just book their email deals.
Aria normally costs me 79 a night and 99 for fridays and saturdays. Sometimes 139 though.

Follow hotels on twitter sometimes they will post updates on limited time sales or promo codes. Also check hotel websites they may have some promo codes through there too.

Ended up going to Rhinos using their limo service. We tipped $20 because the limo was pretty awesome and had free admission. They bring you in from the back door. It was a Saturday night and the place was packed. We had to grease the host $80 for 7 chairs so it wasn't too bad.

The girls were pretty good looking. However they don't talk much and just asks if customers want dances (money). There were also ones that just stood in the corner looking like they were forced to be there...

Although the girls at Treasures were not hot or good looking, at least they were friendly and don't stand around.


Aside: The wings at Hooters were awesome. They open 24/7.

Ok here's a question for the Vegas vets.

Will any of the hotels care if you bring in your own booze when checking in?

We'll be staying at Aria, but once we land, we'll be making a pit stop at WalMart or where ever to pick up some cheaper booze...

I'm just not sure if they'll have an issue with us checking in with a cooler filled with booze, or a couple cases of beer, etc...

Any other hotel I've stayed at hasn't had an issue with it, but figured I'd check...

I've never had a problem with bringing in booze.. what I do in my room is my business.

stayed at aria and caesar past two years. both times we just took the cases of beer with us right up to the check-in counter. even got a fist pound from the guy at caesars for being so prepped for pre-game. :fullofwin:

Nope, it's not an issue.

I have done this many times and what we leave in the room they will clean up for you!

Just don't make a mess! Well I always leave a $10-$20 tip for the housekeeper in the morning!

Last time she even brought me chocolate dipped strawberries for the next evening :)

a couple years ago when i was there for a stag, we had our pre clubbin entertainment in one of the suites and we went booze shopping at the Navy BX. we ended up with cases open cases of beer/hard and the palazzo had no prob with us bringing that much to our room.

as others have said, just make sure u leave a decent tip for housekeeping the next day

I always tip the housekeeping crew well anyhow. Some of the shit -literally- they must deal with on a daily basis must suck. I try and be tidy, with a nice tip, it usually pays off in spades.

So after talking to friends and family, if I don't want to party there are pretty much 4 options:

1. Gamble
2. Shop
3. Shows
4. Food

The GF isn't too much into option 1 (though I would totally be but it's probably better that I don't indulge), where do you suggest to shop, eat, and watch shows? Anything spectacular that I cannot miss up? Something that you would recommend because it absolutely rocked your world and shook the very foundation that is your life?

Shopping depends on how much money you want to spend. But caesars palace shops are decent and for the cheaper regular stuff, PH for on the strip.

You can go to the gun range, sky diving, check out the grand canyon etc.
Shows to watch, I would have to say "O" at the bellagio.

As for food, earls sandwhich is always good and cheap. 24hrs too.
Lemongrass in aria ia pretty good which is where I eat most days.

I would like to try the buffet at caesars too since I hear its pretty good.

Try buffet at Bellagio.

The Forum in Caesar's Palace is a huge mall with all the typical retails stores (H&M, Apple Store, EB Games, Banana Republic, A|X, etc)
There's also the Miracle Mile at Planet Hollywood as well as Crystals (more high end shops) at Aria.
There's also 2 Premium Outlet shops within driving distance as well.
Shows ... there's a lot of different "Cirque" shows scattered around. The consensus is that "O" at Bellagio is the best one. La Reve was pretty good too. David Copperfield was an entertaining evening, don't think anything really "rocked my world" but the term is subjective...

When in Vegas you GOT to have at last 1 buffet. Recently the re-vamped Bucchanel Buffet at Caesar's Palace is by far the best buffet in Vegas right now. Everything's super fresh and the selection is premium. Wicked Spoon Buffet at Cosmo is also nice, I would recommend going for lunch as it's a much better deal. Rio hotel off the strip features the BIGGEST buffet I've ever seen, the rows of food variety is endless, but doesn't match Caesar's quality. Aria buffet was good too, Wynn buffet is occasionally mentioned as a "good" buffet but I find it overpriced, you pay for the decor.
For regular dining, as mentioned above LemonGrass is pretty good if not a bit overpriced. PRIME steakhouse inside Bellagio is my personal favourite. Many celebrity chefs have restaurants ther but I didn't have the time (or money) to check them all out so just have at it! :)
Casual dining, Earl of Sandwich for delicious hangover sandwiches.
If you're in the mood for some EPICNESS ... go for Carnegie Deli in Mirage for some late-nite/anytime corn beef!

My girlfriend is not a fan of gambling that much anyways and it can always be done here in Vancouver. I tend to gamble later at night after all the activities are done with the SO as well.

If you guys are open minded please go to the Strip Club with your SO! It`s a great experience and it`s a lot of fun. My girlfriend asks to go everytime!

If you want to shop head over to the outlets and that's where most of the shopping is done, unless you run into something special shopping is all the same, the forum shopping is pretty much where all the high end things are same with crystals @ Aria.

For shows, any of the Cirque show I have watched (quiet a few) are all great but I believe an original performer of KA just died and it`s sad :( KA was such an amazing show.

I have also spent my money on Terry Fator which was great as well and Jabbawockeez that can`t go wrong depending what you are interested in. Jabbawockeez just moved to a new venue as well.

Food wise, I don`t know how much money you want to spend and what type of food you desire...

For something near fine dining I would give Gordan Ramsay Steakhouse a go! It was great when I went and I am actually returning to them in two weeks time.

For buffet check out the revamped bacchanal buffet at Caesar`s one of the best that is offered right now, also you can`t go wrong with Bellagio.


For something that blew my mind as a meal... has to be hands down Joël Robuchon in the MGM... he was rated Chef of the Century and his food is as good as it gets... hands down THE BEST meal I have EVER had in my life. Michelin 3 Star rated and he has the MOST Michelin stars in the world for a chef.

For something like that comes with a hefty hefty price tag. For his 16 course meal it goes for

Five Course Menu $195/Person

Six Course Menu $250/Person

Sixteen Course Degustation Menu $425/Person


I have tried all of his courses and that 16 course meal... oh my fucking god.... you can`t even imagine how good it is.

Of course he has an A`la Carte menu but his food is not that cheap...

I don`t even know how to describe it... I have been back 3 times last year just to eat at Joël Robuchon and man on man... worth it every every friggen time.

If you could splurge the money... trust me best meal you have EVER had.


Mr Joël Robuchon also has a more casual restaurant that sits right beside his Michelin 3 star restaurant named l'atelier de joel robuchon which is Michelin 1 star and damn that restaurant is super amazing as well.
