^ like I said on flickr, great shot. Love the lighting :)

Crop might be a little tight on the top, or not tight enough...

on 10-20-2008 09:47 PM

i find myself focusing a lot more on technical aspects rather than the content

Mananetwork 10-20-2008 11:22 PM

Nice back light with front fit Ed!
Do you set up your strobes for ever photo?

Atlantis 10-21-2008 01:41 AM

yup every shot i take, i use 2 lights setup with brollies, and stands, 3rd light is usually either the sun or just a hair light, but rairly i use 3 strobes.

unless the sun over powers my lights, then i just use for for fill.

Nice portrait! Love it!
Have you tried cropping the guy on the right and leaving just your subject there?

Ronin 10-21-2008 04:51 PM

Yes...but I like the rule of thirds here. Having him right in the middle doesn't look as attractive.

Bonjour43MA 10-21-2008 08:48 PM

nice candid shot! where/what is that?

and um... SUPER long time no post... go easy on me

Any thoughts on this one?

Messing around with the shutter speed tonight..

Where is the guy looking ... his ball is on the mat :P

Bonjour43MA 10-22-2008 05:55 PM

nice shots there Tom. just wondering if they might have more "pop" if you didn't desaturate them that much... hmm....

I actually like the desaturated look to them. It gives them a unique feel to them. Its not something I can put to word. I don't know what is the best way to describe how I feel about it. All I can say is I like it!
