Tudors up 7% in their prices.
No longer have the itch to buy a watch lol. Going to dm 2 folks about a used BB58 39 and 41mm, see if I can get it for sub $3,500.

Price on Tudor can still be negotiable. Someone at the Vancouver Tudor store managed to get 30% off on a Tudor 925, but it sure ain't no BB58.

So tempted to buy one of those fake Cpt. Willard with the NH35 movements just to tide me over until I can afford a watch I really like, like real reissue or a Hamilton or something

The thing I don't like is the lume colours don't really match.. hands, numbers, bezel are 3 different shades of green
I mean for less than $100 it's fine but.. eww lol
I'll go see if some retail shop is selling these. I've seen stores selling "homage" watches from weird Chinese brands, but never looked twice at them.

dude youre in hong kong, take a quick ride over to shenzhen and im sure they can point you to the right direction for 10000% accurate knock offs that are so authentic looking you'll need a loop just to see the difference.
but uhhh you might need to bring a chinese friend otherwise they think this gewilo is trying to snitch on their operation.

I bet SZ is a lot different than it was 2 years ago, as the borders just opened for the first time last week. You have to sign up at a website since they're limiting how many people can go back and forth.
Actually the last time I was in mainland China at all (other than transit at an airport) was almost 10 years ago. The difference between that time and my first trip 10 years before that was incredible, and I bet it's changed a lot since then too. That was when you first started seeing those ghost towns and enormous dead malls, and now we hear that the population has been declining pretty rapidly (and that's not taking covid into account). It really feels like the bubble is about to burst.

The watch I'm looking at rn is a ripoff of the Hamilton from Interstellar... 
Only because nobody has done the Tenet watch yet lol (though I'm not a fan of the double branding here so a knockoff might actually look better) 
Hamilton basically has all my styles covered - big pilot watches, field watches, or blacked out divers.

Yeah I'd have to see how legible it is in person. Sometimes the numbers are really shiny so they are very visible at an angle in the light

I just spent some lai see and I'm about to join the club boys. Spent all day shopping for watches, looking at every price range from $50 to $500. I just have the bug. Now I just have to wait for shipping
