I have a friend who wants the LZ8. So, if you're down for the combat - we've got 3 already.

Just need one more person.

I'm in! Do we have 3 now...??

Thanks

it's NOT cheap and the reason why it has a glow is because they have some type of chemical " (tritium) and it gives off a steady stream of electrons due to beta decay. These particles excite the phosphor, causing it to emit a low, steady glow. "
they say it will only last for 25 yrs... so it'll be like 20 years... i really want to see one in person.
http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_eAZMZQV5ei...eepDive+03.jpg

actually the half life of tritium is 12.32 years meaning every 12.32 years the glow will be half as bright. It will last more than 25 years, but it will get fairly dull. the radio active energy of tritium can only penetrate 2mm too so it's okay, it aint leaving your watch. lol. nor can it penetrate your skin. just dont rub it on you or if it cracks dont inhale it.

For those who own a Tissot PRC200, how much did you guys pay?

I'm looking to buy one and want to negotiate a fair price. Is there usually a certain percent you can negotiate?

Got this from a cruise last year. It's an Eco-Drive so works on the power of light.

We have a very similar collection lol.

One Citizen EcoDrive, one GShock 6900, one Nixon something, one Vestal Zeppelin, one Omega automatic, and a few Fossils.

I'm itching to get something new..

G-Shock GD100

I currently own 5.

A Techno-Marine, a Tag Heuer, a Suunto, and a Rolex Submariner my dad gave me that I have locked up and have literally never worn yet.

The one I sport the most often is my Tissot-Touch.

I LOVE the idea of the T-Touch. Always wanted one but wasn't a fan of the rubberized strap. I wish they could make it look a little classier than casual.

Which one of the several thousand models are you referring to?

jc778 03-13-2011 08:28 PM

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT

that one

ieuler 03-13-2011 09:39 PM

IMO, g-shocks look kinda childish and are slightly overplayed. meh, to each his own.

6793026 03-14-2011 09:24 AM

^ I agree with you, i an wear it during a camping weekend knowing it'll do the job but for everday.. meh.

SuperSlowSS 03-14-2011 10:00 AM

Its $120.. what can you expect. It does the job.
I have one I wear to work, and on sweatpants days.

Depends on your personal style. Some people wear Red G-shocks with 3-piece suits.

taylorrr 03-14-2011 04:39 PM

I have a white one thats G shock.

Hide625 03-14-2011 11:21 PM

I hv the GW-5600J that I wear for work. Perfect for work, I don't like wearing my other watch w/ the metal buckle since it digs into my wrist working on the computer all day. Only $60 on amazon, can't really go wrong for that price w/ atomic time & tough solar.

PJ 03-15-2011 11:10 AM

^Yeah my Gshock is my work watch too, but I don't really have a choice lol.
I'm an engineer, so metal/glass faced watches would get banged up within a week.

gilly 03-15-2011 11:17 AM

My Citizen ecodrive watch stopped working for some reason. Can you guys recommend me a good watch repair place in coquitlam/burnaby?

Thanks
