citizen chronograph wr100

gilly: really? your eco drive failed? i had mine stopped working and to be extremely honest i had it for 10 years and then i realized it just didn't get enough sun.

try it again and if it doesn't work, you need to take it back to Citizen. I doubt a lot of people know how to work it.

gilly 03-16-2011 09:28 AM

i know.. wtf. i don't wear it that often and yes ulic.. i did put it in the sun for a couple hours lol. yeah.. maybe i should send it back to citizen.. doubt there are any local specialists that can diagnose the problem and fix it.

parm104 03-16-2011 09:34 PM

Gilly: Eco-Drive watches have a 5 year warranty so if it's not that old send it back to Citizen.

As mentioned already, I don't think any local shops would work on it but regardless if you took it to a watch repair store, they will send it out to the right people. Any Citizen retailer will be able to direct you into the right direction (TimeCo, Jewelry stores, The Bay.)

its cheap, and its a watch that even celebrities wear?

i have a G-shock frogman titanium from about 10 years ago, it weighs a tonne and you can drop it from like a couple stories up and it won't break
