So regarding the watch box.
I went to Richmond centre today and dropped by Bombay to check them out again.
They currently have all the Jewellery box for sale at 40% off including watch boxes.
Only 10% more than Christmas time so I just bought it.
Really like how heavy and solid it feels.
Here are some crappy pictures I took.

i dont find anything wrong with $165 for a quartz movement.

LOL!
Sorry I bought the last one just before you did.
Been eyeing it for few months.
I've also checked eBay and they are really not cheaper (Most of the are more expensive) than the one at Bombay.
The cheaper ones have cheap leatherette and plastic window I believe.
That's why I came back to the Bombay one in the end.
I'm sure other location will still have some in stock?

Looks nice. Agreed with comment above; as long as you don't spend like $500 for a quartz, you're good =).

Regular price is $79+tax.
After discount I paid about $54 including tax.

bobbyhill 02-27-2012 04:46 PM

^ but it's also just a timex for $165.. not the best "pedigree"

rb 02-27-2012 07:47 PM

^ I saw that Timex at the bay tonight. Not a bad watch for $165. Of course if they sell it at the bay, you might be able to get it for cheaper with Bay day promos, etc.

I think you picked up the recalled version. The dial at the bottom should go 1,3,5,7,9. What it should look like.
