CITIZEN ECO-DRIVE

I was pondering this citizen at the store today, any suggestions?

I have a G-shock incoming.
The last G-shock I had was about 15years ago.

hondaguy, nice watch, but i would never get gold on a watch.. that's jut me..

unit 04-10-2012 03:41 PM

i would buy a gold watch only if it were a rolex and i was a rich sailor.
gold plated 2 tone, or even a real 2 tone for that matter, not a fan of. just my 2c

If you're serious about this watch, Costco in the states has it and their prices are very competitive.

Again, I agree with most people in here and am anti-gold (even if it is a Rolex, especially if it's a Rolex)

i wouldnt go with faux gold, just get it one tone stainless.

HondaGuy 04-10-2012 11:07 PM

Thanks guys for the response, always good to hear from others.

The store had 40% off from retail so I thought it would be a good deal, but after trying it on, I turned it down. Fiance said it looks for a old man lol...

Anyways, saw these, any opinions?

1.) Same as the 2 tone gold one but just one color lol...
Watch Details for PERPETUAL CHRONO A-T | Citizen Eco-Drive

2.) Watch Details for CALIBRE 8700 | Citizen Eco-Drive

BlackZRoadster 04-11-2012 12:59 PM

^ i think my choice would be the 1st one out of the 2. I like the addition of the blue needle.

6793026 04-11-2012 06:02 PM

^^
i'm a watch whore so this is my feedback. those are great watches and I rather you get those than any gold watches you had in mind.

1) the 5 Time Zones for accuracy, i never had one, but it would be nice to have
2) power reserve indicator
3) Titanium; light weight.. enough said.

the ONLY draw back is hte Chronograph.. 99% of hte time, i don't use it.

E_Fahlman 04-11-2012 07:53 PM

I'm thinking about selling my Oris Williams F1 Chronograph if anyone is intrested.
It was my daily but still in great shape.

skyxx 04-13-2012 10:44 AM

Just thought I'd share, The Bay has 30% of watches. I believe it's Citizen, Seiko, Bulova, G-Shock, Baby-G, Timex.

Thanks, the third post on this page has a better picture of the watch.

It's the Casio G-Shock G7800B-1.
I believe it's discontinued so you'll need some luck to find one.

Araaadi 04-16-2012 11:21 PM

Hey, I know this is for posting what watch you have, but I'm looking for an opinion.

I'm shopping for a birthday present for the girlfriend. She told me she wanted watched, we narrowed it down to a final 5, 2 Michael Kors, 2 Nixon and 1 Emporio Armani.
I took some hints and found out that these are her favourite two. Just looking for any opinions or experiences with the watches.

The Sumo is a Japanese model and sold in Japan (and Asia) and mine has modded bezel with sapphire upgrade.
The Spork is discontinued so most likely you can only buy it used.

Does anyone know what watch this is?
