Hey, I was going to sell my Wolf Designs Viceroy single. I've got a triple and double now and don't need this one.

Anybody know any local dealers that sell Hirsch Pure Watch straps preferably 19mm-20mm?

moky 05-21-2012 01:53 PM

last time i checked, Time and Gold on W. Georgia had a pretty good selection of Hirsch straps

k3mps 05-21-2012 08:45 PM

does anyone know where I can get parts for G-shock watches?
or a place that has parts and can fix them?

joquio 05-21-2012 09:37 PM

Since I was flaked and wasn't able to pick up the Omega SMP last week, it was only a matter of time I dip into the Omega funds I've been saving up.

Was able to snatch this one up just now.

Comes with 3 interchangeable bezel.
More info: Steinhart Apollon

Bezel kinda looks too big for the small face, imo.

Nice pickup nonetheless. Something different.

moky 05-22-2012 07:18 AM

Yeah, it definitely is something different.
I hope the bezel won't look too big in real life. It's 45mm across so it's not at small watch. lol.
Here are a few pictures of the dial:

I'm looking for a new watch but do not know where to begin when it comes to watches. Looking for something that is stylish and professional, can be worn in a business meeting, meeting with clients, semi-formal gathering or at a formal event (i guess they all could be the same thing). Anyways, I was thinking of going to the bay and looking at the selection but came across this thread. Are there certain brands I should look for, avoid? Certain places i should look at? Across the border? Websites? Just to keep in mind, my budget is probably around 500 max. Any suggestions fellas?

PJ 05-24-2012 11:32 PM

jomashop.com is kind of my go-to website.
as for brands according to what you're looking for: Citizen, Seiko, and Tissot came to mind first. They are all smart, respectable brands. They have their more popular sporty ones (chronograph, divers), but they have more dressy/professional ones as well. I think a leather banded watch might be what you're looking for. (You can always buy aftermarket bands too)

Not sure what kind of business you're in, but I'd stay away from rebranded stock watches like Gucci, Armani, Burberry, Kors, etc.
It may sound paranoid, but you don't need a client who happens to be a watch person judge you by your watch. (It happens.)

moky 05-25-2012 06:18 AM

you can also get som decent hamilton watches for about 500$
but online is the way to go for better prices
