agreed w/ mugen

after getting infamous for $30 and the possibility of batman for $40 all within a month of their street date..i dont think i'll ever buy games over $40 again.

Some games are still priced as 59.99 and 64.99. I dont get why prices differ for non special edition games. They should just make one damn price and stick to it

Thats why I never buy games retail. I just wait a week after they're released and someone on craigslist always has a new or used copy for $40. I never had to have a game right away when it came out. Patience will save you some money ;). I'm waiting for ninja gaiden sigma 2 to come out on sept 29th. I hope they have some opening day special or else I'll have to wait a week and grab it off someone on craigslist and NHL10 comes out in abotu 1 month. My buddy works at EA so I'll get hooked up with that :)

buying off CL is a great idea.

i laugh at ads that i've seen of newish games going for near retail. i mean really, who the fuck will buy a game at $60 used? even $50 is pushing it for me.

Thats the one thing I have noticed about the PS3, the few that do get problems, seem to get a lot of them. I know the fans on my buddies PS3 scream almost as loud as a 360, which is bordering on hurricane force. So he resold it and picked up a 60GB which works fine.

I'm gonna buy Modern Warfare 2 and NHL 10 though. I'm not gonna have the patience to wait for someone to sell their copy.

I USED to buy every single game the first day it released, sure many members recall that

had like 15-20 games for ps3, and i had like 50-60 blue rays...firsy day release

^ the whole console is a marketing scheme! until they get some games I still say its in beta mode. considering they just came out with the Wiimotion Plus, which is good cause I always found the motion to be a little glitchy.
