god damn i cannot believe no one locally is capable of swapping the OEM cases to JDM white

my buddy recently bought a slim after i brain wash him, and he is really desparate changing the case to the JDM white. we went to crystal and asked every single shop, they all looked at me funny as if why would we wonna change the case. While they do offer the service for Wii and shitbox 360 lol


only way is to import from the land of the rising sun. Funny thing is they dont even sell white controllers

well the white slim is only a few months old. it'd be dumb to swap it now tho cause you lose you warranty, prolly why they dont do it yet.

i dont think such thing exist, unless you're talking about the FFXIII one for which no one would want to sell just the shell...

i bet a white slim would like real good but it wouldn't match most people's HT set-up visually.

so you assumed that i would use it while im walking around in public? hell no...i wouldnt even use any other bluetooth headset in public. i just wanted to use it while driving. i would even make sure its on my right ear so that the car next to me cant see it.

id probably call you a tool too just because a tiny ps symbol on a bt headset is enough for you to make fun of someone.

So I finally finished Valkyria Chronicles.
The Report where I had to prevent the enemy from reaching my camp was pretty tough.
It was either I kill them all or prevent them from reaching the camp after 8 turns.
I spent roughly 4 hours just beating it.
Aside from that, the game was stellar. Ch.15 and onwards was sensational. The anime followed the game pretty well and I felt the story had more impact and emotion than the animation.
Great game.

Now to play inFAMOUS, AC2, and MW1. :lol:

Only other possibility is to send it into Colorware and ask them to paint it whatever colours you want.

doesn't the place at crystal with the shitbox 360 and wii casings do ps3 too? a buddy told me that the dude there told him that he can order a casing and install it for him

God damn, I just recently bought a PS3 Slim and it's pretty damn loud =\.

But then i've never owned a PS3 before to compare it to old models.

slim's not supposed to be loud, if you bought it recently, exchange it for another one.

Fat ones can be quite loud though.

yah my ps3 slim is quiet, the only time i even notice its on is when it reads the game disc but even then its still quiet.

just finished infamous. The game was enjoyable, but do not expect me to purchase inFAMOUS 2.
For $17, I guess it's all right. For $39.99, not worth the price.

Comparing to GTA4, GTA allowed me to really roam freely and there was always side missions to complete.
