any stores that have diesel jeans for sale?

RunningFree 09-07-2011 05:06 PM

I think that Underground in metro is having a back to school sale... not sure if it's still going on. Decent selection of Diesel stuff.

MindBomber 09-07-2011 05:30 PM

London Drugs is selling Rock&Republic jeans for $80.

I stopped by to take a look at them, it's no surprise they're going out of business. The design and quality is so low the only thing that makes them superior to a $15 pair of jeans from cosco is the R on the pocket.

Gerbs 09-07-2011 05:44 PM

^ the ones they sell at costco & london drugs are the shitty designs with shitty quality, the ones from higher end stores were nicer in general

I do maybe an inch at most just so they don't drag on the floor with my shoes on. If I have to sacrifice some stacking to keep my jeans intact so be it.

Rock and Republic was bankrupt then they got sold to VF corp who owns 7 For All Mankind and many other clothing brands. Now they are selling off all the old junk and will soon make some new designs.
Ones sold at Costco and London Drugs are mostly straight to discount pairs which are made in Mexico, Guatemala, etc. Buying S2D pairs is basicly paying for the brand not the quality.

I just saw that Ironheart has a limited edition 25oz selvedge denim. I was tempted to get a pair even though I have a 21oz pair, but after seeing the price, NO THANKS. 480 USD is too rich for my blood.

unit 09-27-2011 04:32 PM

wow 480? thats a bit much

raysquared 09-27-2011 05:08 PM

I agree completely.
None of the stores I've been to have N&F Elephant 2s, Left Hand Twill, or Japan Heritage in Skinny Guys :okay:

G 09-29-2011 12:08 AM

N&F is actually nothing too great. Whoever thinks N&F is premium denim has much to learn.

Anyone heading down to the Bay Area, holla!

bcrdukes 09-29-2011 02:54 AM

Any local shops selling Ironheart jeans?

RESN 09-29-2011 08:07 AM

none. I just paid a visit to dutil, haven't been there in years lol and saw that they have momotaro and PBJ now

Naked and famous has decent quality construction and an interesting selection of denims at the price point, especially if you buy them second hand since they are readily available even in the rs classifieds. Of course if you compare them to Samuri they won't come out on top though. I have a couple excellent pairs of denim that were around $400, and a few budget pairs of n&f for running errands and things like that.

Thanks guys. I've soaked them maybe 4 times, but this is the first wash. I think its probably got like a year of wear or more on it. Cant really say because I wear them on and off. I've had them for about 2 and a half years and they're still going strong! 21oz :fullofwin:
