Check out the men's store at Oakridge. IMO that store has better selection and styles. I used to work at J2, terrible times. |
well I just bought a pair of N&F. Weirdguy in Left Hand Twill, size 29 I'm a 29 in other jeans, and despite "areyounoob" telling me to size down, I got my actual size. This is because I tried the 28, it fit a bit too snug. couple questions: what should I do first? hot/cold soak or just wear for 6 months then soak? I've read on many sites (Revscene, authenticforum, styleforum, denimblog) and some say wear first, while others say soak first. another question: which pair of vans goes best with my jeans? Said jeans: Spoiler! Vans #1: Spoiler! Vans #2: Spoiler! |
It's a lot better to buy the jeans a little bit tighter. It'll be tight the first couple of wears but it will eventually stretch. My N&F Skinny's we're really tight the first time I got them at the waist (couldn't get 1 button done) but now they have stretched out and fit perfect. They've stretched about 1" since I've gotten them. Haven't soaked them or washed them yet. Depends on what you want, if you want it to fade a little quicker dont soak it just yet, wear it out and then wash/soak it after a few months of wear. Keep in mind though, the more often wash, the "healthier" your jeans will be. ie: the fibres will be a lot stronger since bacteria won't live on the jeans for a long time. A hot soak will result in shrinking the jeans. I personally like Vans #2. But if you can get a pair of DBs ;) |
So if the waist is a bit loose after just buying the jeans, does it mean they'll only get looser? Because they're a good fit, not too loose. not too tight either |
They should be really tight for the first few days. It'll stretch to perfection eventually. |
Warning: First few weeks of wearing them, your balls will hate you. |
i guess i'll have to go back and downsize then... :okay: |
Anybody have a pair of 3Sixteens? Seems to be similarly priced to NFs. Blackmarkers seems to have them for a really good price, but doesn't say exactly which ones they are. |
wearing skinny jeans with massive leg hairs... annoying. curls up my leg hairs into pube shape form and itchy as fuuuh. thats just how i feel when i wear them but i love the style :) |

i bought 31s and they were tight..after a week i think they're up to at least a 32.5 if not 33...i have to wear a belt now or my jeans will be too loose |
