That's pretty cool. Did some googling and pricing is determined by the fabric and can range from $200-400.

The fit choices are just their standard fits aka skinny guy, weird guy etc right? We cannot give exact measurements for the rise and leg opening and others?

i find that a bit high for n&f quality denim but it is custom after all.

jtanner_ 11-11-2011 08:59 PM

Picked up another pair of n&f's today... Gonna take forever to get the kind of stress marks I want on black denim lol.

Side note:
Anybody actually have their nudies tear along the crotch? Happened to one of my coworkers the other day at work aha. Hoping it doesn't to my more worn out pairs...

Anyone know where I can pick up natural leather belts for cheap? I saw the N&F one's and they are insanely nice but 85$ is too much...

Spaceship_coupe 11-12-2011 12:32 AM

I picked up a Filson Leather belt at Roden Gray a few weeks ago for around $60.

If you just want a cheap full grain leather belt go to Tandys Leather Factory in Surrey. The entire belt won't cost you more than $20; of course you'll have to buy different parts to the belt and assemble it at home. You could probably just ask the guy if he could assemble it for you and punch holes in them.. he did for me.

Regardless of where you buy your leather belt, just remember to condition the belt with mink oil.

thinking of grabbing one for work.

Got a pair of Mighty Healthy raw indigos off of the epic Blackmarkers sale for $25 because I wanted to try raw denim. Anyone know if I ought to soak these or not? And any other good tips for care? :D

If they are sanforized meaning they've been pre-treated for shrinkage, then no need. If they unsanforized, then yes. Never heard of the brand, so you'll have to find out.

Hopefully they are decent, I hate to spend 6months+ in a pair that do not fade well. Seems like a waste.

Can't find how they were done anywhere on the jeans or online. Is there any harm in soaking them just in case?

RESN 11-12-2011 09:11 AM

^ no harm. they're jeans, they'll be fine

areyounoob 11-12-2011 09:53 AM

I remember when I first washed my N&F denim (with no prior soak) it became all hairy and felt like sandpaper. It was probably because of the abrasion from the washing machine + water but I can't help but think it was because of the soaking it got from the wash.

My high rubbing areas are soft and all but places like my shin still feel like sandpaper. They never felt like that prior to machine washing it.

k3lv 11-12-2011 04:28 PM

I have 8 pairs of Nudies and never had a crotch rip. On my 9th now that I got a pair of Nudies Taped Ted.

instantneedles 11-15-2011 07:01 AM

Hey guys I have a question. What is the difference between a 29 x34 and a 29x32? Is it just the length that is different or is the waist to crotch length also longer in proportion? Both 32 and 34 would be longer for me so I'm going to have to hem them, but would it make a difference to hem a 29x34 and a 29 x32, in proportion of the jeans?
