Starry Night in Richmond 9/10
http://www.starry-night.ca/

The fusion food is great, a bit pricey, ~$30 for a 3 course set menu. Ambience is great, excellent services except couple waitresses seem to be standing around quite often

Heart Attack Grill in Phoenix.

TERRIBLE.. 2/10. Burger wasn't as tasty as I'd hoped it to be. In-and-Out Burger is far better.

whoa! pics?

LiquidTurbo 07-01-2010 01:48 PM

Pics later, when I return home. The buns were greasy as if they were dipped in oil. Everything was just excessively greasy. It's not fun to touch a bun that is so oily.

syee 07-01-2010 03:07 PM

haha, it's obviously more quantity over quality. :D Besides, the greasy bun is supposed to help with the heart attack!

Isn't that the restaurant with the hot waitresses too? Screw the pics of the burger, I say pics of the waitresses!

Neoxphuse 07-01-2010 03:43 PM

hakka masti

10/10

- chicken chow mein with chilli vinegar sauce always to perfection
- vegetables, always a ton and very fullining

the best asian/indian fusion place out there

NIMBY Burgers

Had a regular NIMBY burger with vanilla milkshake. Shared a basket of fries with my lady friend. She had the NIMBY burger with cheese. Total came to $17.89.

Burger - 8/10. Was just like In'n'Out Burger but it did not come with onions. :(
Fries - 8/10. Again, much like In'n'Out's fries. These are fresh cut fries and made to order.
Milkshake - Seems like they used a low-grade ice cream to make their milkshakes but I'll give them a 7.5/10 for trying.

Overall, including service and wait times - I'll be generous and give NIMBY Burgers an 8/10.

Agreed, but no triple Os in the states.. plus it's a bit more money. You get what you pay for though.

Deer Garden, a new noodle shop 2nd level of the plaza where Twinkle and Michigan Noodle House is

Heres the menu:
http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...00706-1411.jpg
note: this is just the "make your own noodle" menu, they also serve baked rice etc.

You can see the variety of noodle + toppings and soup base for you to choose from. For a $1.50 more you can add some other food, i chose to get the fried chicken wings

http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...00706-1426.jpg

tastes very similar to the "fung sah" chicken wings at aberdeen foodcourt

here is my noodle:
http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...00706-1429.jpg

i got the Chaochou style dried fish and minced pork fish soup, with pork intestine and fish puffs(?)

Rate: 9.5/10
I love the soup, drink could've been better but can't complain it was decent
very filling especially since I eat a lot

BlackZRoadster 07-06-2010 05:44 PM

^ firstly its not gum sah chicken wings at aberdeen, its Fung Sah

secondly its not chaochou, its chiu chou or chiu chow
