Brown's Social House (Restaurant Bar) on Alma & 10th,
8/10
Decent food, good proportions, but the service is kinda slow.
Stay away from their $6 wings special. I've been there twice during the special (I think 3-6pm every day) and the wings are dry and stale.

Food = 9/10 - their Sashimi and rolls were very fresh and filling, and they didn't fall apart.

Service = 1/10 - When we got there it was fairly busy so one of my friends went over to ask one of the waitresses if she knew roughly how long we would have to wait and she just said "I don't know" and walked off. When we finally got seated we had to ask for 3 cups of water three times, finally when the water came they gave it to the wrong table, we could tell because he dropped off 3 cups of water to a table of 2 next to us. Which in my opinion is pretty ridiculous considering the fact not only were they were a group of 2 but they also had drinks on their table already.

I would recommend only coming here for the food and have only the lowest of expectations for service or you will leave disappointed

ive never eaten there i just get take out

Late night AYCE at Happy Sushi. I'm not a fan of ayce, but my friend wanted to go and it wasn't too bad. Unlimited sashimi makes the $13.95 a good deal. 7.5/10

is this located on victoria drive near 41st?

never knew they had AYCE haha

Tim Ho's

Sausage Breakfast Wrap
(Sausage patty, eggs, cheese, special sauce wrapped in a tortilla)

not bad i would say, better than the McDicks wrap
4/5

Miku

Food 10/10 - The menu had a nice selection. Probably the best calamari I've ever had. The tofu salad was excellent. Had the tuna aburi also.

Service 9/10 - It was good do. Only thing was that we'd get interupted during converations even though we were such a large table. Can't fault them too much for that though.

Yes. Happy Sushi is located on Victoria Drive just off East 41st Ave, directly across from the London Drugs plaza.

Moxies on 152nd in Surrey near Highway 1.

8/10, A bit on the pricey side in terms of restaurants I go to frequently, but the steak I ordered was done perfectly, and service was prompt.

Lobster Pasta, a 1.5 lbs lobster on a bed of spaghetti. Best pasta ever!

ex-owner of Amarcord opened up a new restaurant called Via Veneto on Broadway between Ash & Heather close to Cambie, i had a lobster for main course exact same dish like in the pic, it was excellent!!! savory sauce, succulent lobster which cook to perfection, al dente pasta & just a touch of spiciness. their menu looks pretty good as well. i think they'r gonna focus more about making fresh pasta. my friend had a Tagliatelle Bolognese(meat sauce) the pasta is made fresh, she said it was the BEST bolognese!!! definitely worth checking it out.

lobster price is a little cheaper compare to amarcord, its $39.95 but i think bcoz the lobster is a little smaller compare before.
