Always had good service and food. This time, nope. This was midweek too.

Service was slow.
All out of lamb chops by 6pm?
Ordered seafood special instead, overcooked and dry.

Don't know what happened this time.

everything was tasty and decently proportioned for lunch

old french quarter pub thursday 20cent wings

much better than i expected me and a buddy went and ordered 100 wings.
the dry jerk style was excellent (insert perverted comment here) the jimmy style was good but a lil too saucy for my taste i was surprised they had about a dozen (i think)different styles of wings to choose from. not the best wings i've had but for 20cent wings this is for sure a return for me.

went for lunch at Lin shanghai house on broadway and Fir i think(its right beside the comic/book store), the beijing style meat cake and the shanghai style meat cake were frikken awesome. no parking so had to walk up from my friends office building. cheap and quality food i give it a 8/10

Mdonald's Quater Pounder Meal

Was cold by the time I got home (got take out), tasted okay though quite filling. Vinegar and fries FTW :D Hot mustard is overrated. 6.5/10 :D

Baked Ox Tongue Tomato Sauce on Rice w/ my Cold Lemon Tea

$7.00 after HST..way better alternative than a fast food joint and it filled me up good! 9/10

market is overrated, i did not like the food at all, except for the truffle pizza appy.

My wife's order came 20 minutes after the first order arrived. This was even more aggravating because an order that was basically the same came 10 minutes earlier. The food in itself was just okay. Dont think i'll be going back if I had the choice.

Stephos

Ordered Kalamari dinner, server brought fish instead so i told him i actually ordered Kalamari so he took the fish back brought me my kalamari and the portion was HUGE. I was going to take a picture but its always so dark in there so i couldnt. The kalamari was cooked al dente the batter was crispy and fresh, the potatoes were hot with a crisp on the sides. The salad was fresh. The rice was amazing. 9.8/10 .....-0.2 because he got the wrong order and he asked me twice what my order was so its no excuse.

Lol wanted to avoid west cause after looking at a bunch of pictures from food blogs it seems like I could eat $200 worth of food and still be hungry
That and I feel like I could easily most of the items on the menu pretty quickly

Here's an asinine question. But doesn't squid with a bite in the middle mean it's been frozen? Aside from that, sounds really good.

Screw Stephos. Give Takis Taverna down the block a try. They are much better in my opinion.

for a $9 kalamari dinner i wouldnt be suprised if it was frozen lol

meh. Stephos has Quality> Cheapness > Good servers > Food comes up fast. Thats good enough for me, my big concern is NONE of the greek restaurants in vancouver have gyros.

You know I'm cooking tomorrow. I still should have an rs meet where I cook real greek food.
