GODDAMN. You must be reading my mind or something, cause I had a craving for this last night.

Did you order the whole pizza? It really sucks that we can't get NY style/quality pizza out here on the West coast, but at least Ah-Beetz is doing their best..

Only drawback is that they're in Abbotsford, not really within reach for me to go all the time.

Teriyaki Chicken on Rice

Big bowl, so much rice underneath, my friend didn't finish it all. Looks damned good though!

2 items + sauce + + vegs + rice or spaghetti - more expensive than places like E-Canteen/Alleluia/Cafe Gloucester.. but looking at the stuff it just seems to be less greasy.

I had the Baked Porkchop on Rice, but substituted the rice for spaghetti instead. Small porkchop on top, great tomato sauce, super cheesy as well, but for $6.50 including a drink, great value!

Overall, 8/10~ for now, but I'm going back to try some more stuff, such as red curry beef brisket, baked seafood on rice, etc.

Finally tried BT Cafe tonight with a friend.

I got the Baked Portuguese chicken on rice w/ cold lemon tea. My friend got the Baked seafood on rice.

Portions were reasonable and tasted pretty good. $6.50 is not bad. Service was pretty good for a chinese joint. I'll definitely come back again and try the other dishes on the menu. Plus its in my E.Van neighborhood too, not too far away.

Just putting it out there,

If you like Seafood + coconut + cream sauce...their baked coconut seafood on rice is pretty epic.

And no, I'm not affiliated with the restaurant...although I wish I was!

I live in Abbotsford and never even heard of this place. Definitely gotta try it now!

That was an evening not to be remembered. I still get vivid nightmares where I wake up in the middle of the night, drenched in a cold sweat.

Please, just let NRR! decide for himself. Yours and Alphamale's bad experience should not scare away others from trying an excellent HK cafe style restaurant (under perfect circumstances).

I see some mixed reviews online too but my GF wants to try it as our SFU friends suggested it and seem to like it.
It's run by koreans? I hope the service is better than sushi garden... although the food at sushi garden is pretty acceptable IMO
