Oh, and Naslund's SL55.

I guess no Ferrari's or Lambos cause they don't have enough room to carry any gear, or the players just don't want to drive it to the arena. (save it for better occasions.

players dont carry their own gear unless they get traded. otherwise thats what the equipment staff does. you make it to the big leagues, you think your still gonna carry your stuff??lol

Yeah, I wasn't really sure if they did bring their own gear. I guess it would make sense if they don't. haha. But you'll be surprised, sometimes just a suitcase of personal clothing can take up more space than those supercar's have room for. :p

What's with the Range Rover though? I saw that car being mentioned like 5 or 6 times. Is it like every hockey player's must have car?

Why would they even need a suitcase for their personal cars? If they're driving their personal car, the game is local, no need for a suitcase?

Wow did you guys hear about this?

Vancouver Giants will be at tomorrow night's Vancouver/Boston game and present Lucic with a Memorial Cup ring because he lost his when his mom's place got broken into. Ron Toigo (owner of Giants) bought tickets for every player + staff just to make sure they see one of their alumnis play. Talk about having a great owner :)

WOW. Great move by the owner, but only about 2-3 of the current Giants roster players played with Lucic.
Excited to see Lucic back in Vancouver. Want to see him fight Bieksa :D
That would be a good fight!

That is f'n awesome.

Speaking of Lucic, damn has he been burning up Beantown! 4 goals, 3 assists in 8 games so far... just had his first ever two-goal NHL game on Saturday. He could turn out to be the next great Vancouver NHLer since Burnaby Joe!

Yup, absolutely. I was shocked when I saw an SVU full of gear on Sunday. It dawned on me later that the alumni guys were there, LOL.

Hondaracer 10-27-2008 06:11 PM

Wow.. thats pretty great of Toigo

in all honesty, in Vancouver amongst the giants, lions, Nucks, and hell even Whitecaps, they all have pretty outstanding owners

the giants have THE best organization in all of the junior A clubs in canada. tiogo has gone overboard a couple times in rewarding the team that the CHL had to step in and warn him about it. he's also awesome for his white spot employees. my friend worked at white spot and they all got something for christmas(ipod i think. not too sure).

He also bought them all Armani suits when they won the WHL Championship and went to the Memorial Cup the first time... AND built them a practice/workout facility that most NHL clubs would be envious of!
