What a GG pass by Souray.

speaking of Souray shouldnt he of been kicked out of the game for not having his jersey tied down during the fight with ohlund?

those refs were BS

ChaKo 01-07-2009 09:53 PM

i only caught bits and pieces of the game from school, but one of the refs looked at least 2 inches taller than sundin on the small feed screen.

CRS 01-07-2009 09:54 PM

I think we can all agree the officiating tonight was just terrible.

Not really racist! 01-07-2009 10:26 PM

oilers paid the refs

/gg

you must be talking about mike cvik -- he's like 6'7. been in the league for a long time. he's a giant.

AzNightmare 01-07-2009 10:33 PM

Wow! Ohlund actually got into a fight. Don't see that often.

He fought Eric Cole a couple games ago against the Oilers, did pretty well too

Maybe he only fights with players from the Oilers.

mako 01-07-2009 11:23 PM

i think Ohlund's got something against Cole

his fight with Souray was sparked from his hit on Cole

6thGear. 01-07-2009 11:24 PM

The check on Cole was very clean. Souray jumping in was stupid. I get the whole standing up for your teammate, but seems lately any big hit, clean or not, warrants a fight right afterwards

He fought Iginla as well. Ohlund does fight but he's not really a fighter type of player. With bieksa healthy and having O'Brian, there really is no need for him to drop the gloves.

Soundy 01-07-2009 11:33 PM

^Ohlie doesn't pick fights, but he sure answers the bell when someone wants to go with him!

ohlie got a few good punches in but got rocked with that one punch to the face

411ken 01-08-2009 06:52 AM

another strong outing from barbi man. A couple shaky moments but overall, played great! would love to see him start the games until Lu gets back.. As for the Sundin line, am I only the one to think that Raymond doesn't belong on that line? i know it's only 1 game.

punkwax 01-08-2009 07:00 AM

Raymond should be able to use his speed to carry it in deep and give those two time to get in front. Also he stands to learn a lot from Sundin.

411ken 01-08-2009 07:03 AM

^ ya get it in deep and lose the puck after circling the net or sudden stop. I like raymond but right now, i dont think he fits the line. We got sundin to create the top 2 lines and not to teach raymond. he can watch sundin or learn from him during practices.

Lu WHO??

Kidding, KIDDING!

Meanwhile Sanford's sitting over on the end of the bench mumbling to himself, "fuckshitpissmotherfucker!"

raygunpk 01-08-2009 08:10 AM

Jordan Staal just signed for 4 years. What a waste of good tradebait.
