We lost 2 big points in the last 2 games. Hopefully the Flames go on a skid so we can catch up.

PavelGTR 01-04-2009 08:55 PM

I hope the Sedin's didn't shoot in the shootout. Those guys are fucking terrible.

hotjoint 01-04-2009 09:02 PM

damn that sucked, demitra always has the same shootout move but in a game he actually dekes, he needs to start deking, he can score! Wellwood with a pretty regulation and so goal. That guy pretty much score anytime he wants

411ken 01-04-2009 09:04 PM

missed parts of the game and saw the highlights.. wtf was Kesler thinking punching the stars player making it 5 on 3.

invader 01-04-2009 09:17 PM

dumb penalty that led to a goal ^

AzNightmare 01-04-2009 09:35 PM

At least Kesler scored in the Shootout...
but I agree, Demitra always goes wide and shoots instead of deking when he has lots of options when you're making the goalie go side to side. Normally, shooting isn't that bad of an idea as long as you get a good shot.

I've seen him pull off better moves in his shootouts, so I have higher expectations than that.

Lebarbera did great tho... I'm still disappointed how most of these guys can't shoot the damn puck.... it doesn't seem like they have worked on their SO skills

I was expecting Demitra to pull that same move he did in the last S/O.

If you felt bad for LaBarbera for this game, imagine how Luongo must have felt for the last 3 seasons. :)

stuff99 01-05-2009 01:00 AM

at least we 'rescued' luongo from florida

trdees 01-05-2009 02:12 AM

so when is LUuuuuuuuuu coming back

iPee 01-05-2009 02:15 AM

man when will demitra bust that move that he always does to luongo

Vansterdam 01-05-2009 02:31 AM

gg

Harvey Specter 01-05-2009 03:07 AM

Rumor has it that Lu will be ready after the all-star break. I guess the Canucks might let Lu rest up a bit more if they can light shit up with Sundin in the line up.

trdees 01-05-2009 03:21 AM

when sundin and luongo comes back. Were going to be GODLY

I heard Sundin will also be ready after the All-Star break.
They want to wait until Canucks are bottom dwellers before they make their return
so that during the long stretch of games until the end of the season, those two alone will place the canucks back in 3rd place as NW champs. It will be down to the Colorado game on April 11. It's all for dramatic effect.

trdees 01-05-2009 09:44 AM

They ll never do that

caronimo 01-05-2009 10:31 AM

if we do that then the chicks wont come to the hockey games, they only come to see pyatt. I've confirmed with atleast 30 girls I know! ;)

trdees 01-05-2009 11:47 AM

good! more seats for us

AzNightmare 01-05-2009 11:51 AM

Seriously, who cares about the chicks. When I go to games, I go to look at my man-crushes, like Burrows and Wellwood. Who the hell looks at girls when they go for Canuck games.

Hockey > chicks.
Playoffs > anything.
