^ nice!!!! I like Lecavalier too but who knows how well he can play in the tougher west matchups...

Mike Gillis should phone the lighting up and let them know if the offer is still available if MG can't resign Lu....

Tomas Kaberle could be the next member of the Maple Leafs heading out of Toronto - if he's asked.

The 10-year blueline veteran hinted to the Toronto Sun prior to the Leafs' game in Montreal Thursday that he wouldn't stand in the way of a trade if general manager Brian Burke told him he was no longer part of the team's future.

"Obviously when the GM is going to tell you he doesn't want you here any more, you don't want to play for a team if someone doesn't want you any more," he told the Sun. "That's a different story."

Kaberle added that he has not been approached by Burke with any requests for a trade. "It's pretty much with Brian if he's going to talk to me or not," Kaberle told the Sun. "I haven"t talked to the GM and my agent didn"t talk to him. Let's leave it at that for now. My thing never changed. I signed here because I love to play for the Toronto Maple Leafs. That never changed. Let's leave it at that."

Kaberle has a no-trade clause in his contract, a deal that pays him $4.25 million a season through the 2010-11 campaign.

It isn't the first time Kaberle has been mentioned in trade rumours and speculation. Leaf interim general manager Cliff Fletcher reportedly had a deal in place last winter to send him to Philadelphia for centre Jeff Carter and a first-round draft pick, but the trade was turned down by Kaberle.

In 40 games with the Leafs this season, he has 25 points.
I wouldn't mind another D-man who can both pass and shoot.

As far as i know, all Seasons tickets DO have the full color layout, the only time you get the typical ticketmaster tickets for season tickets is if you either lose them and need a replacement, or phone in and say you want the tickets for said game to be available at will call

otherwise when you receive the tickets at the beggning of the season, all of them are the full color layout

This is why he needs to be re-signed longterm at any cost

Hopefully the Leafs pick a decent draft pick this year and not fuck up like they did with Andrew Cogliano.

durrrrrr

i would take bobby lu over vinny lecavalier any day of the week. theres 25 players in the league comparable to vinny but there is only one goalie of the caliber of roberto luongo who could franchise a team for 10 years.

Hondaracer 01-08-2009 07:48 PM

not to mention vinny only has what, 46 points so far this season?

Lu is more of a franchise player then Vinny, and a much better player to build around

F1 01-08-2009 08:38 PM

he has less than that. 39 games he's played, he has 34 points. one thing though is that in that 2006 season, lecavalier had 52 goals and 56 assists. but at the end of the day, which of the two will win you more games? i'd go with luongo.

Tim Budong 01-08-2009 08:47 PM

old news..but interesting

Rounding out the 2010 Hockey Panel on CTV

Ch28 01-08-2009 09:16 PM

What the fuck is Nick Kypreos doing on there? I hope that moron says something stupid so I can watch Bob McKenzie rip him a new ass hole.

jigga250 01-08-2009 09:33 PM

I hate Ray Ferraro and his raging Oiler hardon

I don't get that feeling when I hear him on the radio?

Harvey Specter 01-08-2009 10:18 PM

Yup, Ray Ferraro loves the Oilers but he does live in Vancouver so I guess he jumps ship between the Oilers and Canucks.

And in other news....Pat Quinn might be heading to Ottawa to coach the Sens.

mako 01-08-2009 10:24 PM

seems like the Pens would be a better fit for him

Hondaracer 01-08-2009 10:25 PM

if anything as a team i think ferraro likes Vancouver over edmonton at the moment, typically i respect what he has to say and he's usually right arguing with pratt etc.

MR_BIGGS 01-08-2009 10:36 PM

Ya I like the Ferraro segment with Pratt and Taylor....and th Big Ball of Hate knows what he's talking about so I respect his opinion...

I can't beleive he notched 408 goals and 490 assists in his career..and only has 2 40 goal seasons...

6thGear. 01-08-2009 11:51 PM

Hansen is back up and Buldoc is sent down to the moose. Luongo may also be 7-10 days from coming back. Does anyone else think that if Labarbara continues this play that Sanford may have lost his job?

Which ones don't? All the season tickets I've seen come in a book where you rip out the tickets for each game.

BlackZRoadster 01-09-2009 12:02 AM

^ Labarbera was suppsoed to be the future for the kings, was pretty highly touted, if his talent builds up to his reputation, then we'd have good trade bait.

Harvey Specter 01-09-2009 12:16 AM

I think Sanford is done as a Canuck once Lu returns.

Hondaracer 01-09-2009 01:17 AM

would make sense to make labarba the backup, maybe he'll sign for a contract next year

Harvey Specter 01-09-2009 03:45 AM

Is Sanford getting the start tonight?
