lol, bah, doesn't seem to matter to me though.
If you're not cheering for Canucks, it doesn't make it any better to cheer for one team over the other of the remaining 29 teams. That being said, from an unbiased opinion, I think Pens are gonna take the cup this time.

Hah, wouldn't have mattered, though. We thought we could win by getting 15-20 shots on goal.

Not likely... considering all the teams call up a lot of minor league players to be on the roster for the playoffs, who never ever even get close to being put into a game.

wahyinghung 05-24-2009 08:21 PM

Go Wings lets make it another rematch of Wings VS Pens in the final ............

Harvey Specter 05-24-2009 11:47 PM

I think the Hawks were lucky to win game 3. The Wings look damn good and I can't imagine what they would have done to the Canucks if we had made it into the 3rd round.

Derek_N84 05-25-2009 12:08 AM

^ The Red Wings are definitely playing some top notch hockey for sure but there are too many variables to decide if they could really be doing the same thing to our boys. Whatever the Wings are doing is obviously working against Chicago but it doesn't necessarily mean it would work on the Nucks.

AzNightmare 05-25-2009 12:28 AM

Canucks tighter style high percentage hockey crap would probably lower the amount of goals the RedWings are scoring, but not enough.

yep
but keeping in mind how in the past few years, we were able to keep their guns from scoring

one must not overlook the fact that guys like franzen just become GAME in the playoffs, puck luck or not, franzen is the nhl's clutch man of the post season

hotjoint 05-25-2009 07:47 AM

Wings/Penguins Final

Hossa scoring the winner amongst the boos coming from the crowd in OT Game 6.

Hondaracer 05-25-2009 07:54 PM

i think penguins have a better chance then people are giving them but they will have to play amazingly to take the cup.

Depends on which MAF shows up to the finals.

murd0c 05-25-2009 09:33 PM

Nice the Moose won tonight, Damm Hodgson and Grabner are playing well togheter

d1 05-25-2009 09:57 PM

It's too bad they don't have more video highlights of the games.

Harvey Specter 05-25-2009 09:59 PM

If it's Wings vs. Pens I think the Wings will win again.

+1 on every word.

Although I will have to agree with the others that the SC Final will favour Detroit, Penguins are more than capable of an upset with the way Crosby/Malkin have been playing in comparison to last year's run.

Former Toronto Maple Leaf Peter Zezel will be taken off life support today after a long battle with a blood disorder.

The 44-year-old had fallen into a coma at Toronto General Hospital. He recently underwent chemotherapy and had his spleen removed.

For the last 11 years, Zezel operated hockey camps in Etobicoke, Ont.

During his time as a Leaf from 1991 to 1994, Zezel scored 50 goals and 78 assists in 207 games.
