Message truong :) not just because he's on RS, but I honestly believe he does some of the best foo dogs that I've seen.

And thank you all for the constant support! Hard to believe a year ago I was scrounging and begging for an apprenticeship being turned away by every shop I went to. It has been an amazing year and thank you all for constantly believing in me.

looking forward to seeing more finished work from you

yeah thats where I meant haha, the area behind the knee was really tough. Not too sure if I do muay thai or if it's just the norm, but the shin was actually one of the least painful spots for me. I have some script on my chest too and even that was more painful than my shin

threezero 05-20-2015 02:06 PM

^same here the shin was a breeze I think that part of our skin is just least sensitive dude to all the abuse it take. Getting kick there hurts like hell getting poke by needles not so much lol

trip 05-20-2015 04:14 PM

shin was nothing.. but near that ditch of the knee though..

XTC_604_DKNY 05-20-2015 05:33 PM

so in terms of pain where the knee/knee ditch is, where else on your body would you compare that to?

I have a chest to elbow piece, and thinking about doing a thigh to ankle piece, but I keep hearing the knee is almost a 9 or 10/10 in terms of pain...

alwayslive 05-20-2015 07:41 PM

I was cringing pretty hard when he got near the ditch of the knee but I honestly don't think it was all that bad. Cohen told me that the ditch of the knee and near the ditch of the knee isn't all that different in terms of pain but he said that the knee itself feels really strange. Keep in mind though that pieces right on the knee fade pretty damn fast too so you might have to get it touched up a lot

trip 05-20-2015 10:06 PM

ive got nothing else to compare the ditch of the knee area to. it wasn't intolerable..
it was at best uncomfortable. i was reading a book throughout most of my sessions so that helped me not concentrate on it.

Top of the kneed I rate a 5/10 pain wise. Knee ditch is 7/10

As a comparison I rate top of the feet 9/10 and ribs cage 9/10 and stomach 8/10

But I would describe all of them as different types of pain so you might be able to handle one kind more than the other

Also when I got my knee ditch part tattoo it was at the end of a 10 hour session so it may have been more painful than it actually is

whatitdew 05-27-2015 07:04 PM

Well I woke up today and said screw it, I want to get tattooed today. So I went down to funhouse tattoo but nobody had time to fit me in. Put down a deposit and I was halfway home when they called and said get your ass back here we just had a cancellation!

Ended up getting this F and C on my middle fingers. Stands for Fuck Cancer. Got a half sleeve planned for later but could only get something small now cuz my body is still recovering from all the treatment. Got a scan in two weeks then it looks like I'm headed to clinical trials next. Still fighting this bullshit but I will not break and I will not fold.

That's really damn inspirational. Good luck with everything man, stay strong. You're going to beat this bullshit and when it's all done and over with you'll be a thousand times stronger than you were before

The_Situation 05-28-2015 01:27 PM

We're all rooting for ya bud!! Fuck cancer!

Seriously . Good luck with your upcoming trials. The big C can eat a bag of dicks and has claimed a few people in my life already. Definitely pulling for you dude!!

Anybody use that saniderm second skin stuff for healing/aftercare?

I am using it for my fingers and just removed it after four days. So far so good, this stuff seems to be the real deal.

truong 06-01-2015 06:18 AM

Some recent stuff
