Since he's only here for a short period as a guest does that mean if I wanted to work with him then id have to finish everything in the short time he's here? I wanted to get a whole back piece done but getting that all in 2 sessions sounds brutal

Back pieces can take up to 40 hours to complete depending on what you want. That would be some seriously long session to pack into a short period of time. I can only last a maximum of 8 hours per but have been tapping out at 6 hours nowadays.

Yeah that's what I was afraid of. I'll just go with horiyu. He was my first choice anyways, but it seems like he has a longer waitlist.

he will come back in a yr or so, and you can continue your work lol, best to suck it up and take as much as you can

I just called them. They said that the waitlist is till march. Going in for a consultation today.

I'm booked for March 8th :) . This will be my first tattoo. Should i be in frequent contact with my artist to discuss the sketch or am I suppose to wait till he's finished

Let him/her know that once they have it all drawn out that you would like to see it so as to if it needs tweaking

Most artists won't draw up your piece till a few weeks before the appointment. They already have a huge Client list to deal with before you. Forget about the tattoo for now and keep saving up dough. Give the artist a call a month before the appointment.

dam that was the worst session i ever had in my life lol, all my fault
didnt have a good sleep, didnt have anything to eat and went str8 to the tattoo... god dam nipples are the fuckin worst lol will post pic later, feeling lazy :D check it out on my IG pldngha

Lol i did 5 hours on my chest after a night of partying .. Never again !

Nice bro. Should have blazed the night before. That's what I'm going to do. Shit puts me straight to sleep and I know I'm going to be way too excited to sleep.

I did 5 on my chest after a night of partying too and I swear it was the mellowest session I've ever had! I bled more than usual, but sternum and chest was the least painful spot I've had done for me. I couldn't believe it.
