nothing showed on your caller id?

nelo 08-25-2009 06:11 AM

i have a caller id so i know it is shaw, its just that on that day i forgot my phone that's why im not able to answer it. the number that showed up is Shaw's CS department. I called the CS number asked to be transfer to HR but the agent im speaking with does'nt know the transfer code. Anyway, i just check their website and they are hiring for TSR again. I hope that they will call me again.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of work experience do you have? I'd like to know what Shaw looks for in a resume.

ddr 09-10-2009 06:04 PM

they called me, i wasn't even lucidly awake, answered some questions wrong i guess... they didn't call me back. FML

should i apply again?

ckompressor 09-10-2009 09:38 PM

what does a installer make at shaw these days?

Jonydakiller 09-10-2009 10:02 PM

Installers are piece work, meaning you get paid piece by piece depends on the jobs. avg is about 70,000 and some are over 100,000 if you work really hard. But keep in mind, you have to drive your own car, pay your own gas and maintenance, but overall ain't too bad

blazingazn 10-13-2009 03:25 PM

shaw is hiring big time again.

BS, they expect a person to do nothing else but part-time job at shaw?
they should offer FT position if they want a person to be available 24/7

as i'd mentioned previously, shaw does not hire anyone that is not available 24/7, be it ur in school, or another job, i tried. the reason being is that they said they alternate employee's shifts from morning to afternoons to graveyards each month, so u HAVE to be available 24/7, even if its for PART TIME position only. even with hook ups from current shaw employees they were not willing to hire me because of school.

terkan 07-22-2010 08:17 PM

so if they are hiring for PT.. can you switch to FT later if it becomes available?

terkan 07-23-2010 11:20 PM

hmm they deleted the posting.. anyone know if the open house is still on?
