Costco's poutine doesn't seem that big...not even close to 2x of KFC...or so it seems??

Vansterdam 02-24-2009 02:32 AM

costco poutine is fucken huge

flameboy54 02-24-2009 07:29 AM

If you do costco take out poutine, it's huge. They use the rectangular styrofoam containers with the folding lid, like the chinese 'fan hups' and they pack it in. Easily bigger them the eat-in containers.

Unless they closed recently, they should still be there. I walked by it about a month or 2 ago. I'll go check on my way home.

Here's Fritz's website

http://www.fritzfries.ca/poutine.html

They even give you the history of poutine.

The poutine is really good, but I like their dipping sauces for the fries even more. I almost wanna walk down right now to get some...lol

HonestTea 02-25-2009 02:02 AM

It's been a while I'm not sure exactly but it isn't really cheap from what I remember. It is however quite good they also have smoked montreal meat sandwiches which are great.

I was there last Tuesday.

They're poutine is just so-so. Gravy is good as gravy generally is but I didn't really dig the fries. They had like NY Fries type of fries instead of the McDonalds, KFC type which I prefer.

Although Fritz does have more variations such as bacon poutine or chicken poutine which I have yet to try.

LiquidTurbo 02-27-2009 11:27 AM

Went to Fritz last night for their Poutine..

Ordered the Jumbo Pountine with Montreal Smoked Meat.. it was alright.. shared with my friend.. definitely not worth the price... fries + pop + smoked meat = $10.25

also ordered a small fritz fries with chili chutney dip.. this wasn't bad... it was alright.. $4.75..

Probably not gonna visit again.. quality doesn't justify with the price..

I gotta say Fritz is probably the best. I used to think Costco was alright, but I agree with KingDeeCee, the last time i was there the cheese was frozen.

Went to try out Fritz today

This is the medium poutine with a regular fries and garlic dipping sauce. Dipping sauce was excellent!

What suprised me most was when I was half done, I thought I had ate all the cheese and it'd be just fries, but lo and behold, more cheese and gravy
