Best Poutine?

Searched, but there has been no poutine discussion.

I had poutine up at Whistler at Zog's and it was delicious. Anyone know of good poutine places in the lower mainland?

BK's is actually pretty good

i had poutine at 5 diff places when i went to montreal and none of them were really "Great" for what i expected in montreal

suprisingly the best one i had was at the casino lol

KO7 02-22-2009 06:51 PM

Buckeye Fries in Playland, next to the water log ride by the entrance.

teaoh 02-22-2009 07:47 PM

i say costco has pretty good poutine and its for a cheap price.

KingDeeCee 02-22-2009 07:56 PM

Costco for sure. But the last time I went, it kinda went downhill. My cheese was literally frozen and the gravy was way too salty. However, it's still the best I have ever tasted in the Lower Mainland.

The fries make up for the crappiness of the gravy and cheese :P Oh god I love their fries.

I gotta say Fritz is probably the best. I used to think Costco was alright, but I agree with KingDeeCee, the last time i was there the cheese was frozen.

Ohkun 02-22-2009 11:21 PM

another vote for fritz

popnGEAR 02-22-2009 11:29 PM

What about New York Fries?

HonestTea 02-22-2009 11:33 PM

Just wondering, do you need a costco membership card to go in and purchase food at the concession stand thing?

Amuse 02-23-2009 12:08 AM

KFC, they use chicken gravy
A&W
Costco, their fries are good but the cheese curds don't melt!

I've only been to the one near Stadium Skytrain. No membership required.
