The place I like watching the games the most is right at home. Replays, analysis, etc can't lose. I go to most of the home games, but prefer home.

I dislike the bars the most unless they turn the sounds up super high.

murd0c 09-29-2009 05:42 PM

either at home or a buddys. Bar's are so busy and I find you can't get the full effect with all the distractions. That and I have a 42" plasma and a HD box which is ok to watch tv on.

Hondaracer 09-29-2009 06:01 PM

big games or ones i like watching very closely i tend to watch at home by myself, less distractions

mako 09-29-2009 06:17 PM

i like the comfort of home

and i also like the atmosphere when you're at a cool sports bar
the place goes nuts whenever there's a Canucks goal

silk 09-29-2009 06:24 PM

i love to watch it at home with my sportsaction ticket on me...

i could throw my remote around and jump around in front of my tv like a maniac ... or have a quickie with my gf during intermission ( to shut her up )

rb 09-29-2009 06:30 PM

I like the comfort of home too. I have my tv next to me so i tend to reply along on the forums while watching heh

raygunpk 09-29-2009 06:31 PM

i like to watch alone too. i hate when people talk, or say something stupid. there's always somebody who yells SHOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!!

i usually bring my laptop in front of the tv, and check score for various teams..
freaking exciting when you down to 2 teams and 3rd period ..and you are about to win $ 200 + dollar on your sports action ticket !!!!!!!!

RRxtar 09-29-2009 09:19 PM

+1 to CH28

quasi 09-29-2009 09:34 PM

I don't have a specific spot I like to watch games, I like to mix it up.

Sometimes I want to watch them alone at my place. Sometimes I like to watch it at a friends house in a small group and other times I want to watch them in a big group at the pub.

I have more of a pattern for NFL. I spend all day Sunday on my couch watching games (Sunday Ticket FTW) then I watch Mondays game at the same pub with the same group of friends every week.

Harvey Specter 09-29-2009 10:44 PM

Going to be watching the game at a bar in TO!!!!! Can't wait for the reg season to kick off.

same here, plus i have some bandwagon friends that always say there gonna lose, i just cant take the negativity watching game. so i try to watch it completely alone.

Sundin retires. No room in the roster anyway... Now that I wonder what it would have been like if he actually took the 2 year offer. Would have screwed the Canucks a bit seeing
how much potential the Canucks have now anyway.

I like to watch the games at home... to be honest, I like posting on RS as good plays come along, or other various things worth commenting on. And if there's enough of us thinking alike, we end up starting a big chat about the game. I find it fun. :D Or the reactions I see us type when Canucks make a major comeback with a tying goal.

The bar can get annoying when a bunch of drunks are screaming. Sometimes watching at my buddies house are good too. I can tell them to STFU without risking some random starting a fight with me at a public bar.

Anyone down with a realtime online chat for the games? I miss MSNing with my buddy in Ottawa (RIP) for Nucks and Lions games...

For those of you in draft style hockey pools who have already drafted, what pick did Hossa go at overall?

haha, sometimes I watch games online streaming, and they have that chatbox beside the video. I acutally signed up just so I can type in it and tell people to shut up cause some of them were posting random nonsense.

During that one game when Canucks was up 1-0 and the Sharks (I believe it was them) tied it 1-1 in the last minute of regulation, I started swearing and spamming that the host banned me so I missed the OT and/or SO. I think Canucks ended up losing. :lol
