That being said, there are lots of deals in the smaller hockey markets in the US. I believe Nashville and Atlanta had cheap cheap tickets with free dinner included.

Yep a lot of these places even have All You Can Eat LOL.

I wonder how many of the small markets have close proximity to the actual city. Cause I was considering PHX, but Glendale is so far!

Everytime I head down to the US, it reminds me why the average person there is so obese. :(

Does anyone know where the rink is for the Florida Panthers? I am going to be in Miami, and want to catch a game. Is TB going to be closer?

Harvey Specter 09-30-2009 04:04 PM

TB and Miami are far and the Panthers play in downtown Miami.

Just checked. Panther's are about an hour's drive from South Beach. The rink is right next door to Sawgrass Mills Mall which is closer to Ft. Lauderdale than Miami.

TB is over 2 hours away from Miami.

I can't believe this but row 4 tickets in Section 116 for the Panther's is $150 usd plus $7.75 service charge. I better get some happy endings for that price.

Just checked craigslist and looks like the tickets are a lot cheaper than what ticketmasters is quoting.

I guess I'll be bringing my Luongo jersey to Miami with me.

NHL needs to get rid of Bettman, seriously!

RiceIntegraRS 09-30-2009 04:28 PM

i was just down in Phoenix and the cab driver told me that the people dont even like hockey there..... i guess this is how the world works, giving people things they dont want or need over people that want it or need it.

MR_BIGGS 09-30-2009 04:40 PM

I think a lot of US markets will suffer this season, and the Phoenix situation is sad. For a guy like Jovo who wears his heart on a sleeve, not having the fans there is a shitty deal.

US teams are getting in on the Canadian passion for hockey - check out this CANADA DAY in L.A!!

Tickets start at just $39 and include a ticket to the game and a ticket to the post-game concert starting at 10:00 pm at Club Nokia at LA LIVE. Discounts are also available for groups of 15 or more. lol.
But that probabaly still means within top 4 then.
Maybe even better since the West is usually stronger than the East.

But season ranking means nothing if they choke in the first round like the Sharks.

Haha West Coast Express era. All the preview Hockey Magazines would say Canucks win cup or go to finals vs Ottawa. Neither happened =(

Harvey Specter 09-30-2009 07:23 PM

RS Canucks thread road trip would be interested. I bet a member or two wouldn't "return" from the trip, lol.
