Seem's like Fleury did pretty good in the preseason too. I guess it was just timing and priority. Unless he played like Ovechkin, he probably wasn't gonna make the team anyway with all the younger prospects in front of the line.

flames have too many 1 way contracts plus they are a very physical team especially their 3rd and 4th line which fleury dont fit. It was either make the top 6 or go home.

the fact is, theo doesnt belong on the flames team unless its a top6 role, which im sure he has the skill set to be in that position, but the league is evolving, and theo has followed through, its a sad ending, but with his play, there might be teams still that will give him a chance, 4pts in the preseason so far, better than alot of the young guns that are learning.

if he did make the flames all it would be doing is exposing their lack of depth in the system and taking a spot away from a younger player who develop on the big team

it was $125 i think for the jersey then another 85 or somthing for Luongo to be put on, i got it done at the hockey shop, sometimes they will print out their own without a order, and those are slightly cheaper, but today when i went in there they had no new Canada jerseys with names on em, so you'll have to pay to have it put on
