Still waiting for snow....winter tires are off.....but keep in mind, I got a 3 ton jack and impact gun on standby in my garage. I can slap on my dedicated set within 30mins.

Dumping snow on the Sea to Sky. Bumper to bumper from Brohm Lake to Whistler since 6:30am this morning. Very heavy and slushy snow - the kind that spins cars out. Be prepared if you travel up here.

i might take mine off next weekend. Had them on since Xmas, don't think they walked on snow, nor ice, heck not even frost.

I pulled out of the garage the other day in my M4 with summers, randomly started snowing. Noped the fk out of that one got into my 328xi with winters. :confused: Supposedly going to snow again next week?

^^ good call. My brothers neighbor last year tried to drive his 458 in the snow. Got out of the garage and immediately got stuck in the middle of the lane (townhouse complex). Had to listen to him revving the nuts off of it for a good half hour. Refused to help though since that neighbor is annoying with equally rich friends to rip through the complex at inappropriate speeds

Same thing happened in my complex last year with a guy in his FRS. I just stood there, watching, having a smoke. He took so long that I got a chair out, sat there and watched.

my commute involves 30mins along hwy 10, 20mins along hwy 99 and 25mins along oak st to get into downtown van. so far, there has been absolutely NO reason to have winter tires along those main routes.

OK... its finally getting cold enough to snow... hmmm... winter tires on deck... it's like -1 today.... damn...i may have to do the swap.

Snow expected over the BC South Coast beginning Tuesday afternoon.

Arctic air has been in place over the South Coast for several days. A potent storm system over the Alaskan Panhandle will advance southwards on Tuesday, bringing Pacific moisture into the mix.

Snowfall accumulations of 5 to 15 cm are quite possible, especially away from the Strait of Georgia, before the snow ends Wednesday morning. Freezing levels on Vancouver Island should be high enough to restrict significant snow accumulations to elevations higher than about 200 m.

Richmond, I think brother/sister mid 20’s, no parents. Range Rover SS and white 458 in garage, black Range Rover SS in visitors every day, friends in their s63’s and Bentley’s always flooring it through.

Sunk the truck up to the doors in snow yesterday and had to get one of my captains to come pull me out... I'm not going to hear the end of that one.

my cray cray brother in law lives in a townhouse close to that new walmart. Its more or less the same situation in his complex (no ferrari's, but some +100k cars) . I find it retarded when the cars are 1/3 of the townhouse presale values.
