Main roads are good but side streets not so good. Light showers now and it is supposed to warm up which will hopefully melt the snow.

4” in Chilliwack, didn’t start snowing til about 10

easy 10-15cm of wet snow where i live, but that dropped quickly when things warmed up. it was brutal to shovel because it was so heavy. we were still getting wet flurries in north burnaby when i left for work at 5am this morning... when i got to surrey there was not much in the way of plowing on secondary streets and had to dodge around jacknifed transit buses again.

Anybody know the owner of this abandoned GTR on Ormidale off Kingsway? They left it there blocking the lane. I don’t know what happened but it is running summer tires, has an N on the back but it was facing downhill.

So it went from a major snow storm last night to no snow by mid-afternoon with beautiful sunshine and temps reaching 8c. Talk about wacky weather.

Yeah on the news weather, the coldest record was ‘90 at -8 or something and the hottest was ‘91 at 13°. Big swing for only one year
