20-year old Alex Prochazka, or Alex Pro, was sponsored by Oakley, but the company pulled it's support after Pro's picture showed him wearing one of their t-shirts in front of a burning car.
Jennifer Miller is with the Whistler Question newspaper, and says Pro sent them a statement apologizing. "He's extremely sorry about the negative light that's been cast on Whistler and his family because of what he did. His parents have also sent us a statement that says they have had a lot of support from the community."
Miller says Oakley isn't Pro's only sponsors dropping him.

About time. This city has way too many scumbags walking around doing whatever they want because nobody can ever do anything about it.
I think at this point, if the law choose to hand out slaps on the wrist, the community will have its own way. Nobody is going to sponsor/hire those riots.

Wondering a few things about the civil suits against the rioters from Blenz, LD, etc.
I'm told that a ruling against the rioters would cost them huge. What happens if the scumbags don't have any money?

How it works is if court rules rioter number 1 (lets name him Jason Li) in owing blenz $100,000
Jason Li has to pay blenz.
Jason Li doesn't have $100,000
Jason Li's choices are to file for bankruptcy or if he refuse to file for bankruptcy the court can order to
1, Wages to be garnished
2, Assets to be seized
3, Your car to be sold
4, Home equity to be taken out
Or any other way they can squeeze money out of you.
UNLESS of course you declare bankruptcy

^^ I don't know... no Credit Card no car and there are tons of rule you have to follow while on bankrupt. Say you can't call taxi unless is work related, you can't own a car, you cna't own a house, certian restriction apply too such as you can only spend xxx amount on rent or food etc etc........
