they contacted me once early am when i linked the video to them

and now they're contacting me again to see if i can direct them to the video shooter or the guy who was defending the city/car

Tolerance is a fine line, especially with special interest groups around the city chanting to protect people's rights.

Instead, the city, the (good) people, our image is repaid with this sideshow.

I don't even know what's worse, the riots or how little disciplinary action the guilty will receive.

I don't know about others, but I would turn in my own brother if he was apart of this. Now is not the time to protect your friends.

a simple indictment (not even a conviction) can ruin a persons life (even if its not legally supposed to be able to)

While I was waiting for a tow truck to arrive at River Rock to take my car away, a younger girl came up to me and asked me if it was my car.

She apologized for what had happened to it and was quite upset with what happened last night. So much so, that she took the day off work today and was going downtown to help the clean-up efforts.

There are still good people in this city and province.

After watching these videos, I realize people chanting "Fuck Boston" really mean to say "Fuck Vancouver". Look at how they're destroying our city.

Doesn't matter if the car was theirs or not. All I see is 2 people with their heads on straight trying to stop the carnage amongst a crowd of useless individuals with their camera phones out.

I saw another video where there were these two small asian girls trying to defend the M5. Might've been their car too, who knows?

I know one of the security guards working at Sears that night tried to protect the store, but were overwhelmed by the riot and stepped down.

Makes me both mad and sad seeing people still smashing the car, despite people telling them to stop.

While it's extremely sad that the rioters and looters were far too overwhelming, it was probably best that he/she stepped down in order to protect themselves. After seeing last night's carnage, who knows what would have happened.

Lets just hope all the rioters get what they deserve. We can do our part by helping the vpd identify them
