i received word that that Jason Li dipshit is a member of an air cadet squadron here in richmond. he holds a position of leadership, and as an ex-air cadet, i found that unacceptable. I sent the following email to the commanding officer today

Quote:

Good afternoon Major,

I would like to forward you the following picture and video of one of your FSgt's, a FSgt Jason Li. I received word that he is a member of 655 (a FSgt and a 2IC of a Flight, no less), and as an aged out air cadet, I find this extremely disgraceful and disgusting. There are videos of him involved in using that hockey stick and smashing the windows of which he stands in front of. As well, his list was among those on CBC and the Vancouver Police Department's list of criminals involved in the riot's that happened last night.

At 0:52 in the video above, you can see him enter the screen in the #5 Ehrhoff TShirt, with a hockey stick in hand, and proceed to attempt to destroy the remaining shards of the glass pane.

I have received word from my friends who attend McRoberts Secondary School (the school which he attends) that he was placed under arrest while at school today. I am extremely embarrassed that this is how youth represent themselves nowadays, and moreso with him being an Air Cadet.

I hope you will do the right thing in this matter.

Thank you for your time Sir,
655 peeps: follow up if you can! i want to hear about what happens to this fuckwad. i hope they make an example of him, like i hope the VPD make an example of everybody they can ID

Doubt it. That's not how our legal system works.

Most that will happen is the city will give them a bill for some of the destuction.

Harvey Specter 06-16-2011 03:18 PM

Good job, fucking little punk deserves everything coming his way.

BTW guys, if you see anyone you know or have photos/videos and can identify the person, send it to robbery@vpd.ca.

I don't want to see these punks in jail, I want to see them do community service and pay for the damages. Paying money hurts more than spending 1 week in a resort jail on the taxpayers dime for these scumbags.

video on worldstarhiphop, haven't seen this one yet... http://worldstarhiphop.com/videos/vi...x3i7BL4DEq4Rua

very well said, which i'm why i'm doing everything i can with the resources i have from being an air cadet to ruin this kids life as far as i can. i have no sympathy for idiots like him. destroy our city and people will destroy your life

they'll learn nothing from a week of jail and a slap on the wrist. but they'll definitely learn something from years of paying for their stupidity through school suspensions/expulsions, unemployment, etc.

oh btw, all those cars that were damaged during the riot, is icbc going to cover them?
my mom says the news mentioned something about icbc not covering damages done by rioters?

I'd say they'd have to have Vandalism coverage with their comprehensive policy to have it covered. If they only get 3rd party or basic insurance it likely won't be covered.

If icbc is not covering all the damage done to the cars, riot at icbc?

VSBB6 06-16-2011 03:29 PM

How is downtown looking now? I will be off work in 30mins and am wondering what I need to bring to help cleaning up.

Vale46Rossi 06-16-2011 03:31 PM

Just spent hours readying the whole thread...

Thanks everyone! Last night downtown was disgusting... I couldn't get home till 2A.M but thank god my family and friends that were at the game with me got home safe!

Keep up the good work and hope all these people get arrested.

- kT 06-16-2011 03:33 PM

DT should be all cleaned up by now, as far as anything us civilians can do, it should be done. the rest is basically on shop owners. the cleanup effort started early this morning, i've heard some people were there as early as 3am. city workers started around 2-3am to clean everything they could up so the streets could be opened as early as possible

Rioter gets KO'ed:

MrGoodbar 06-16-2011 03:35 PM

I find it hilarious how much of a faggle Jason Li looks like on his FB page and yet he can turn into a raging, over-9000, full-out ass-clown.

with any case, i've already sent the email directly to Major Powell and Lt. Cheung. hopefully justice will be served. if need be, i will send it up to the higher ups. if nothing else, i hope i can at least finish his career as a cadet. i do not wish to see such a great program represented with lowlifes and idiots like this jason li kid. he gets everything he deserves, as does anybody else involved in the riots

hes a flight sergeant. hes the deputy flight commander for one of the flights. i know. he does not deserve this rank, nor this position. and im from 655, ill follow up on this when i go to cadets meetup on canada day

- kT 06-16-2011 03:36 PM

^ does anybody have the contact info of the guy in the adidas jacket? i've seen him in multiple videos defending our city. "this is our fucking city!"

i'd like to personally thank him through email or facebook or something. that guy deserves recognition for standing up against hundreds and risking his ass to stop the rioters

A summary of the damage:

- Windshield smashed
- Both side windows smashed
- Rear hatch glass smashed
- Rear hatch dented
- Front passenger side bumper damage
- Rear bumper damage
- Driver's side mirror pulled backwards
- Slurpee all over my hood
- Dents on my roof and my sunroof caved in from someone standing on the car.

Trying to sell the car right now too. A huge dec is going to kill my resale value. I'm probably out $2-3k in resale if not more.

I was downtown too at Ap Gu Jung on Robson. Once we saw the car was on fire we left and got back to Richmond. Watched all the craziness on TV with a pit in my stomach wondering what is wrong with people.

Then I wake up to discover my car like this. I'm just lost for words as to how a city can behave like this. :(

it doesnt matter, as long as the rioter was causing trouble, they deserved it.

RTS 06-16-2011 03:41 PM

went to the game with my dad (waste of 3k). left right after and walked up georgia as usual to head home (yaletown skytrain for my dad, south granville for me) and just caught the smoke of the first car going up in flames by the postal building. booked it home via homer asap but by this time they had shut down transit so i had to walk across granville st. bridge.

bunch of idiots and drunk people mostly. i was home by 845 and caught the scene on cbc.

feel really bad about the girl and her car. that is a sickening video. imagine that was your sister or gf or wife. fuuuu
