It doesn't like he was trying to push the van over but yet trying to stop it.

Besides i dont think my friend would just jump from stopping the riot to causing it

Finished cleaning up that M5 with around 6 other people an hour ago. The carpet from the car is burnt straight into the asphalt. The rest is up to the pros the city hires. Anyways, those who came out today showed others what this city is really made of.

Yeah I believe it was her and she has been identified with a name and Facebook page won't take vpd too long now I hope

I believe it's good evidence but video doesn't show fully it was her fire that caused it if she gets a good lawyer

when i was watching this on the news last night, the reporter said that the person in red was one of the bay's floor staff, and the others were off-duty security members. they were using fire extinguishers to keep looters out.

i went by the police impound under the viaduct and saw some of the cars from last night. i could barely recognize the bmw, and the remains of the truck was there, as was the versa that got rolled and torched at the post office. they also had the two burned out police cars there as well, but there was also an unmarked dark grey crown vic that was completely trashed. there was also a badly vandalized black ford fusion, which might have been the one in the pic above...

Looks like that's where they took the cars that were torched. I think I see the M5 in the end and a couple of Crown Vics.

Also, that guy in the black Adidas jacket is my hero.

LiquidTurbo 06-16-2011 07:08 PM

Sucks if those people don't have comprehensive insurnace.. Only if you have it, does it cover riots.

I saw them on the CTV live feed and the reporter said that the guy in red might be a staff member but the others with the bandanas covering their faces definitely looked like they were looting. The guy in red ran and hid when he realized that he was on camera.

yup, a few minutes later they showed the guy in red with a shirt wrapped around his face....he was not a staff he was a looter....he was just stupid enough to not realize he was on tv at the beginning

really? damn... it looked like he was on the cellphone the whole time talking to someone, but i remember what you just said he ran to the back of the store when he saw the cameraman filming. but in other footage, there was someone who had stepped into the storefront taunting one of them inside and they hosed him down with the fire extinguishers until he ran back out?

now if i had a shotgun.. :troll:

Harvey Specter 06-16-2011 07:18 PM

I'm surprised to see so many asian guys doing stupid shit last night.

RFlush 06-16-2011 07:18 PM

As I felt disgraced for Vancouver seeing these riots and hearing this shit (even the news stations outside of Canada were broadcasting this), it does make me feel proud seeing the cleanup pictures and the people in this thread trying to identify the rioters and stopping it.

As much as I think RS are a bunch of idiots, to this thread I must say, good job to all of you who are helping.

Ronin 06-16-2011 07:18 PM

A rioter from one of my pictures has been IDed.

Pharoah Saleh

Sounds like a fucking fake name but still.

Guy seen here:

In my opinion, all 3 of them were definitely looters. What kind of staff puts bandanas/shirts around their mouths?

When they were using the fire extinguishers, it was so the smoke would cover them from the camera. Looters aren't afraid of fire extinguishers :lol
