yup. i hated the design of the iphone 4 since day one and all they managed to do was bump up the specs of it. it could possibly be time for me to buy a real phone, an android.

LOL. No iphone 5. But we all kinda knew this was coming based on the 3G releases.

I don't see why they couldn't have released this back in June or July if it wasn't even a redesign. People will still buy this but I don't think anyone is really "excited" about it, most people were expecting the iPhone 5.

I'm not sure why people were expecting iphone 5... Apple always does the same thing. New model, small revision, then another model. Get the people to buy the same phone twice before actually upgrading.

people don't buy an iphone because of its speed or hardware...
they buy it because it is pretty and easy to use...

Personally...I am not a fan of voice input. Maybe when I am driving, but if I have to push a button on the phone to activate the voice input, it kinda defeats the whole hands-free purpose of it. (My car has voice entry which can be activated by pressing a button on the steering wheels, but even then I never use it because it just feels weird talking to thin air)

I think it's BS when they release software features for new models only. Looks like the voice stuff will only work on 4GS. No reason why it shouldn't work on 3GS or 4. The airplay dual screen thing makes a bit of sense because of processing power but not voice commands.

Does android have anything like "reminders" in ios5? That feature is going to be very very useful to me because my short term memory is shit.
