wtf minimal miui is gone from playstore

i had to downgrade my firmware and re install everything and was looking for it on my app history dl and play store

Swype is finally out of beta and is in the Play Store.

I paid $1, knowing that it won't be available at $1 for long. Main functionality is the same - but on my Nexus 7 - it adds the split screen function, and also has a button on the top left to access numbers quickly - as well as having this kinda interesting mini keyboard thing which you can overlay on top of your app.

On my Nexus, it also has a dedicated "@" button, and ".com" button

I am using the trial version and it's far superior and accurate compared to stock keyboard.

I miss Swype. Been using Swift and it's just not the same

Are there any apps that utilize touchwake? Or is that only a feature available in certain roms?

I used to use Swype. But now I just Swiftkey Flow and I just can't go back anymore. I guess its because Swiftkey Flow got published earlier.

BTW, anybody received the update for the new Google Play Store app yet?

dub.g 05-02-2013 07:29 PM

iv had the new google play for weeks now.. i kinda prefer the old UI but the new one is slowly.. very slowly growing over me

you can download the apk on the site

Download: Completely Redesigned Latest Google Play Store 4.0.25

btw minimal miui is back on google play but everyone has to re purchase it.. apparently the old version got taken down because some of the icon paks were taken from another developer

Dev said that it was taken down because MIUI was trademarked.

As good as VLC is, I find that especially when it comes to videos, it gets a little buggy / finicky on the Android. I dunno if it was a matter of the videos themselves or the software, but I've gone through a couple updates, and it continues to do that.

mk1freak 05-15-2013 10:23 AM

i use qqplayer best one out there it plays everything i throw at it.

Qualcomm's 'Battery Guru' app is out of beta, and really interesting - Android Authority

Quote:

Battery life is a concern for all mobile device holders. We’re constantly in a tug-of-war with utility and power consumption, which tends to aggravate us. News of forward-thinking battery technology is promising, but we’ll be lucky to see it soon, if ever.
Left in limbo, we turn to apps to mitigate the damage. Apps like DS Battery Saver or Juice Defender are useful, but not as intuitive as we’d like. There is still a level of toying with the app we need to do to make it useful as a daily driver, and that’s not as convenient as we’d like.

When Qualcomm gives us a battery app, we take notice. They’re responsible for the Snapdragon line of processors, which are starting to make appearances in newer breeds of smartphones. Powerful, the Snapdragon also uses its share of power. Qualcomm’s new Battery Guru app wants to help change that a bit.

Does next browser offer true fullscreen mode so you can browse without your status bar in the way?

Hi, sorry if this has been asked before.

May someone help me find an ALARM type app that I can set to vibrate my phone EVERY 5 minutes? (until I turn it off).

I am looking for one that can vibrate/alert me at a set interval, without me having to adjust/set it up every time.

This kinda seems random I know lol, but would be helpful for me.

Thanks in advance!

Alatar 06-01-2013 11:33 AM

Could try Alarm Clock Xtreme Free, sounds like it might have what you're looking for.
