Any apps that is like WidgetLocker Lockscreen? Just got the Nexus 5 and some functions seems to be missing or not working as well as before.

Dashclock?

!Yaminashi 01-17-2014 10:49 PM

Dashclock is just a widget though.

What twitter client do you guys like to use for Android? I use tweetbot on iOS but can't find anything similar.

I use falcon pro. The problem is that a lot of popular 3rd party twitter clients are hitting their 100k token limit imposed by twitter which prevents new users from signing on with that app .

Gh0stRider 01-20-2014 10:09 PM

i use plume and tweetcaster pro

mrks 01-21-2014 06:08 PM

+1 Falcon Pro

I use it because there is a way to bypass the token limit:

I use carbon. It's free, no ads, and pretty simplistic.

I was going to switch to carbon. Unfortunately they hit their 100k api limit near the beginning of January meaning no new users. Too bad the dev isn't interested in performing a workaround like falcon pro did.

UltraVNC (UltraVNC VNC Remote Support Software Desktop Control Free Opensource)... make sure to download and install the Mirror Driver as well, makes screen updates stupidly fast.

Does anyone know of any reliable apps that have the same function as the G2's knock knock feature? I think that was the coolest thing about that phone
I did some looking through the play store but there didnt seem to be anything of the same nature. It all had to do with the proximity sensor or physically shaking the phone

I think you'll need to update the kernel to get features like that.

Touch control works works pretty well.

You need a custom kernel or you can reflash their "stock" kernel supplied with the app.
