Anyone think that the webOS support will start up again?

I was just going to post that. Only concern is that the message was in regards to the American HP site.

otherwise, the CDN hp site still has 149.99 32gb units for sale

-regarding webOS support, seeing as alot of the devs are rushing to getting android on the tablet, i think not. I dont know much about the webOS, but unless it is genuinely the second coming of Jesus, i dont see it taking off

HP has now dumped a Saudi prince-worth of money down the toilet and will probably continue to do so unless they can put out something world-breaking soon...or at least announce something that people can get excited about.

I don't know why they bothered in the first place. They never had a chance in hell against the iPad or Android with this crap.

put in my order at the near by bestbuy here in new york during my trip.
they let me pay today and they said more stock would be arriving on the 22nd. hopefully the 5 i ordered goes through. assuming they do, does anyone still want one? 3 of em 16gb, 2 of em 32gb. keeping one for myself, giving one to a friend and one to my brother. there's 2 16gb units left over lol

also ordered one from the hp website incase the best buy ones dont go through.

you think they will charge us the original 170$ for the 32gb OR 560$ full price on your creditcard and then credit us back the money they owe us?

seems like a lot of hassle but i ordered one from HP as well.

i bet the phone hold times on monday is gonna be INSANE

DIBS ON THE 2 16GB

trancehead 08-21-2011 07:14 PM

Yeah good luck guys who are waiting to call HP come monday morning. Its going to be a barrage

HP Canada should just automatically honor the pricing to not have to deal with the flood of calls. The US site already said they would.

i think hp will HAVE TO change their shit online and automatically give people the discounted price just to avoid all the bullshit calls from people wondering about it

i could see hp canada charging full price to people who don't bother calling and getting the price-adjustment

with that being said

if HPs phone line gets too busy could i just call my credit card company to cancel the order? or cancel my order online somehow through HP

Hopefully they would automatic change their pricing.
Ordered a 32 GB from hp canada too.

Either way, if they manage to ship it out and charge us at regular price,
they have a 30 day full refund policy.
