The article in the OP says we'll receive the replacement 6 weeks after they receive the original.

From the email I was sent after submitting my serial number:

entered in my serial number and it immediately asked me to sign in my apple id and confirmed my shipping address. i guess i qualify then? there wasn't a "yes, you qualify for this replacement program" notice.

edit: also, i bet CL will be flooded with FS: BNIB ipod nano posts in about 6 weeks. :lol

i guess someone else entered your serial number in by accident. i'd visit an apple store to clear things up.

I'm still using my 1st gen nano daily.. works the same as it did on day 1. best gen nano imo.

wonder if theyre gonna send us reburbished ones, or just replace ours with a new battery and sent it back

Bought one for the GF when they first came out. She still uses it to this day. Battery is fine but if we can get a new one then why not? :)

Tried using that logic to my wife, except all her music is on her old/dead computer and she doesn't want the hassle to lose her music. :okay:

just called them b/c my serial number was already in use. anyways i asked them what I get in return and they said they haven't decided yet but it's going to be something with all the features you have for that ipod.

Got my box yesterday but I was out at work. Basically they give you a cardboard box with foam inside and you just put the iPod in
