Do all first gen nanos qualify? Or is it a certain batch of a period in time?

just enter your serial # on the website and if its accepted ur good to go

On my return label it says UPS EXPRESS, no Fedex. I got the box yesterday.

Then use UPS? You even have the tracking number there. I don't see why you'd be confused unless the paper that Apple included says FedEx on it.

apple finally received my nano

they got my nano but status still says empty box shipped on apple site

my shipping label says fedex but instructions told me to mail it through UPS. When i went to UPS the girl there said i can still mail it at UPS, i just had to fill out a form. Sent me a tracking number within the day

I was freaking out thinking the UPS guy took it.
I was going to call UPS and complained the next day. I checked the status again it has changed to "processing" :fuckyea:

for those of you that shipped fedex or are about to ship fedex, the tracking number is the number beneath the barcode of the shipping label. begins with a 96 in brackets and then is followed by a 15 digit string. i took a picture of the shipping label with my phone before i sent it off as the fedex guy didn't give me any paperwork.

Tracking number is attached if you login to apple support website. you will have all open case order ID and all the info you need

yup. but for me, the only tracking info on apple's website after i log in is the UPS tracking number of the box sent TO me. when i dropped of the box at FEDEX to ship my nano back TO apple, i didn't get a tracking number.

so i ran the number underneath the barcode on the FEDEX site and i can see that my nano is still currently in transit. apple wouldn't have that information on their website as they wouldn't know that i've shipped it to them. i just want to make sure that my nano reaches its destination.

so it has been @ apple since the 28th.. and yet my status still says empty box shipped? confused....

for those of you who have completed the replacement process and got your "new" ipod nano in the mail, how long did it take after the repair status on apple's website said "step 3, product replacement pending" before you actually received the nano in the mail?

They sent me an email saying that they were shipping off the new nano. Received it two days later.

Anyone here selling their newly received Nano for a little cheaper than stores?

you haven't received the empty shipping box yet? when did you sign up for the replacement? i signed up for it on nov 14 and only received the shipping box near the end of december.
