vergne and perezs cars were touching and they both slowed to a crawl since a turn was coming up as well

michael was behind he slowed down and then locked his wheels but didn't slow down fast enough and went into the back of vergne

michael says he doesnt know why and that the car just wasnt slowing down like it should/normally does (he was having braking issues during practice but the team says they're still looking into it)

over team radio we heard "what happened there? what happened there!" assuming it was mercedes radio



and yeah 10 place OUCH seems a bit steep but probably because its happened with him before

I hope Mercedes steps up their game next year, otherwise this is going to be one of Lewis' biggest mistakes.

If Hamilton's contract is multi-years then he is probably looking at 2014 and forward. Regulations and engines are changing in 2014 (Current: 2.4 V8, 2014: 1.6 V6), TERS introduction (Thermal Recovery System instead of KERS), Possible closed canopy cockpit etc..

TeleMex could be a personal sponsor appearing only on Perez's overall or they could out sponsor Vodafone and sponsor McLaren all together.

As for Ferrari Young Driver's program. Personally I think Ferrari is benefiting from Perez going to McLaren because Perez can tone his skills and prove himself in one of the top tier team. After getting all the experience he needs Ferrari will get him out of the McLaren garage.
