does anyone know if the a stock Robellus Note 2 i317m will work on T-mobile 4g without changing the radios? TIA |
I use mine with the bell network and everything is fine Posted via RS Mobile |
not sure if it is the update 4.1.2 that has been giving me all these new symptoms but ever since the update rolled out, my phone has been having issues with call ending, back buttons flashing like crazy and sometimes freezing. Only way is to head to the walk in service center and they ship it out to repair or same day repair for extra 30 dollars. If they cannot repair, samsung will resend a refurbished note 2...should I just wait for 5.0 update coming out to s4 and note 2 or wait for note3? |

sucks that i have to run a OEM based ROM to support the exFat file system of the SD card tho. anyone wanna buy my 64GB Sandisk Micro SD? ;) left the battery cover off and using a TPU case to cover the phone. works pretty well. slight hump, but its workable. |
When you have to sacrifice phone asthetics for p0rn storage space you might have other problems to worry about... lol |
Who cares about phone aesthetics. Its covered with a case all the time anyway Posted via RS Mobile |

DAFUQ 117GB. Is this for bragging rights or do you actually need that much storage? |

the phone itself is largely empty. by the way you guys should encrypt your phones and SD cards so if your phone gets lost people cant extract the info. eg: take out sd card and put in a pc. you can read the file name, but that's it. i carry a lotta tv shows and kids movies for my boys. keeps em quiet on the long rides home. |

I wanted to know if I would be able to get the 4g Tmobile bands on my unlocked and stock ROM Note 2 (i317m) since I'll be getting a Tmobile SIM and going on pay by day (unlimited talk/text/data(2gEdge) up to 200mb 4G/day) Here is the answer: Enable AWS band (3g/4g Tmobile) on ATT Note 2 stock baseband - xda-developers You can unlock AWS bands on stock ROM. I never got around to it since I couldn't find the software in time before I left, so I'll just leave my impressions on what it's like to use the Note 2 with Tmobile simcard on stock everything in NYC (Manhattan): Mostly 2g Edge service, some parts in HSPA+ but that's very rare. Did get "LTE" signal at JFK airport and one part of the upper west side In Chicago (downtown): got mostly HSPA+ ps. Google Maps and Yelp works on Edge, but everything else sucked |
To add to ^ I was in San Fran and in most of the Bay Area I had 4G up to LTE, everything else sucked as well. Coming home, it was blazing fast so I don't believe when it say 4G with full bars it was anywhere near that when I was in SF. |
Just order a Samsung GT-N7100 Galaxy Note II coz my Nexus 4 broke.... hope It will work with fido..... |
it should. my n7100 works on bell, just no LTE |
