After the update my auto rotate has been going apeshit and email constantly syncs ALLL emails from my inbox even though I dont want. How do we give feedback to samsung?

:heckno: Not going to update my Note 2 after hearing you guys having some issues

SupraTTturbo2jz 02-09-2013 02:49 PM

Fuck how do I revert back to 4.1.1. This new update is useless

You can hide that little tab by holding down the back button.

Multi-window will still work, and the tab will reappear next time you use the feature, and you can hide it again.

The only issue I have with the update is that some of my video files were glitched and wouldn't play, had to resend to phone.

Other than that, it's all good.

ShyGuy 02-09-2013 10:07 PM

people have been using 4.1.2 for months perfectly fine overseas.

What kernel have you guys found gives the best battery life?
Also does anyone know how to get rid of apps that were flashed through recovery?

hal0g0dv2 02-10-2013 11:10 PM

^^^^^ I dunno if I lucked out and got a good note 2 but my battery life is crazy good
With juice defender on all the time it lasts for days
While watching movies and gaming

programs like juice defender have been known to decrease battery life because of increased wakelocks

booting to stock recovery and wiping cache might help with these issues you guys are having. I don't bother with Samsung OTA updates cuz they take too damn long to get pushed out. I root every phone I use and install custom ROMs. And the rule of thumb with custom ROMs is that, hygiene is KEY! So I normally wipe EVERYTHING before flashing new ROMs. But since you guys probably want to retain your data, just wipe cache.

Armind 02-11-2013 10:34 AM

To get Note 2 or wait for Note 3. :fuuuuu:

Same here. I root every android device and get off stock firmware asap

I can tell you now, the note 2 is a beast of a phone.
Fast, awesome screen, amazing battery life, loud earpiece and speaker volume, expandable memory, LTE. What's not to like? :p

man I updated to Jedi XX and it caused my phone to reset. wiped everything from internal storage :(

Back to X9 for me.

Hondaracer 02-12-2013 06:16 PM

so im thinking of dumping my iphone 5 for note 2, worth it? is it a direct competitor for the 5 ?

never been a fan of samsung really and im not paticuarly fond of the GS3 so figured note 2 was my only other option? is it pretty much 5/S3/Note2 at the top tier of current phones?

asian_XL 02-12-2013 06:37 PM

^ I would wait for the S4 instead.

SupraTTturbo2jz 02-13-2013 01:37 AM

for you guys that have lag, rotation, freezing issues... etc..backup your phones, reformat. I just did and it runs perfectly fast again. Samsung should have notified people updating to reformat after. :failed:
