Alright, so after using the new Jedi XP-9 ROM, a couple things to note for all those who wish to try it:

1) 2 finger pull down will not work for whatever reasons. You will have to replace the SystemUI.apk with the stock one from the official ROM and need to flash the 23 toggle zip

2) If you wish to use the ROM Toolbox PRO in place of the Lite, it's not clearly started how to perform the upgrade unless you have kepted up with the thread but to keep it short you will need TitaniumBackup to uninstall the Lite and then reinstall with the PRO version in the same session. Failure to do so will cause unknown side effects (lock ups, force crashes)

3) The infamous SaberKernal has yet to be released to the public for consumption. Can't wait to try that kernal to see if I can improve the battery life even more. (though honestly on LTE the battery lasts sooooooooo long already if you setup the phone correctly)

I still can't find a decent music player with widget that is compatible with the AwesomeBeats app. If anyone has info on this, please let me know.

Weird, I don't get that problem. Is this bug potentially a problem on the T889 version? That can't be the case since we are using the T889 base in the 317m models...

anyone have a clue why my note 2 the internet speed on it is spotty if i try facebook open website etc.. but it works perfectly fine if i'm tethering to another device to go online to the same apps/website or even tether to my laptop o_O

Is it consistently slower? I find sometimes when I want to browse RS at school it's super slow or even fails to load. Could just be Rogers?

Same here I go one of those for my old s3 and it did all the above and the phone would also get super hot.

GUYS, what's the best lock screen (in terms of reliability and appearance) for Note2?

Isnt your lockscreen mostly dependant on the rom youre running? Im fine with the stock lockscreen. As long as i can haz shorcuts im set

^ I hope I can get stock lock screen. Tried Go and some others lock screen, it seems like slowing the phone down and it doesn't work after restart.

The note2 lock screen is fine, but appearance wise, it sucks

Only if the lockscreen and Touchwiz launcher would just rotate... it would be great, but yeah like the others have said, go try Nova Launcher. I'll probably dive in sooner or later but I have everything to my liking so far.

Just picked this phone up from a 9900 a couple days ago. So awesome. Only shitty thing is it seems like the screen protector that rogers gave me is like... don't know how to describe it, but it creates an almost glaizy rainbow color, especially on white screens, I guess to help the "anti-glare, anti-fingerprint" feature.
