Jeff Angus @anguscertified Brenden Morrow is available. Dallas has new leadership core in place. Ribieiro, Ott already gone. Q is, does 10 have any hockey left? |
It's reported that Suter was offered $90/13yrs by the Red Wings- with an initial offer of $80/13yrs. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=399877 |
So here are the top remaining UFAs, missing anyone? 1.Ryan suter 2. zack parise 3. shane doan 4. alexander semin 5. matt carle 6. andrei kostitsyn 7. steve sullivan 8. kristian huselius 9. carlo colaiacov 10.kyle wellwood 11. dan winnik 12. ruslan fedotenko 13. dominic moore 14. petr sykora |
I'd take a chance on Semin if the price were right. Inb4weneedmoregrit This guy takes nights off and still scores 20-30 goals. Perhaps we could get more out of him. It's apparent to me that Washington does not bring out the best in their talent.... |
we should go for kristian huselius if it doesn't cost us too much. |
If i was MG id ask semin to sign 1 yr deal with us to play with the sedins to help him be a 50 goal scorer. So next season some dummy team will give him 6.5 mill to mess up the team cap space :awwyeah: Realistically all we need is doan for us to get in the finals again. |
dominic moore :troll: |
i actually would like doan but chances are slim to sign him for only a year |
I'd like Doan as well, but signing vets hasn't exactly been the Canucks' strong point. Amirite? |
Do not say his name. |
peter mueller.. I think he would be a great addition. Some say he is a little shy going into the boards now though after the concussion problems.. but if he's cheap enough wolski? how both of those have fallen from a season ago |
All lines have been filled except for second line RW, which raymond can easily step in as our second line RW |
^ to see raymond flopping around the ice again?:suspicious: |
semin might be on way to khl |
Semin is a cancer in the dressing room. Go to the khl we don't want him. |

Morrow & Doan are exactly the type of player the Canucks need. Tough, gritty, physical players that are great on defense and will still easily rack up 50-60 points. |
I'd take a chance on Semin just because the leadership group in Vancouver is definitely a stronger core than Washington with Ovechkin as captain. Ovie is a world class talent but isn't the hardest working guy on that team. He comes to camp out of shape and shit but scores 50 because he's Ovechkin. You look at that guy and you marvel at his skills but I don't think people play harder because Ovie is their leader. Semin's bullshit wouldn't fly here in Vancouver. The Sedins would shake their heads in disgust. Bieksa and Burr would make fun of him like no tomorrow while Kesler might just yell at him. When's the last time you heard of a Canuck being a douchebag apart from Weise's late night Twitter parties or Lu allegedly saying "gay"? I mean, Semin wouldn't fuck with Detroit either. |
Would rather have Doan though. |
I'd love to have Doan sign, last time we had a player like him....Trevor Linden. |

^ i think fall in is better |
This may sound noob but I'm moving to Kingston, Ontario for school next year, how do I pay for Canucks coverage in Ontario? I'm not okay with watching the Leafs everyday or w/e they broadcast over in that small ass city :heckno: |
I've always liked Steve Sullivan's game. I wonder how he'd do here |
