What sort of parts? OEM things or modifications?

Jas29 02-26-2013 07:29 PM

Call the local dealerships for a quote then compare with online parts warehouses like Ron Ayers, Babbit's, and Bike Bandit.

Maybe even try heading over to the BCSB forums and post asking if anyone who has their bike lowered and still has the original dog bones would be willing to part with them.

Yea man, i like riding in the rain sometimes. I feel so adventurous

BillyBishop 02-27-2013 06:02 PM

^ as I was leaving the oval today there was a guy leaving on a gsxr (I think)... even in the rain, I wanted to be in his place

vexor 02-27-2013 07:51 PM

So when is everyone else putting insure on their bikes? (for those that don't have it yet)

gdoh 02-28-2013 05:42 AM

check fuses first cause thats the easiest. then follow the tail light wire and check all around for any burntish areas, just cut it and fix it if you find it.

Raid3n 03-01-2013 01:36 AM

how do you know it's a short? is the brake light on all the time? could be a bad bulb too.

check the brake switch connectors as well.

gdoh 03-01-2013 05:49 AM

when i turned the ignition on the fuse blew right away. i took a look at again and still didnt see anything so its off to the shop now im getting my 24k service done too :okay:

just curious which grade of gas do you guys usually put in your bike and what it your ride

i usually put 91 in my zx6r

BillyBishop 03-01-2013 11:25 AM

91 in a ZX6E. 87 makes it run sluggishly

Raid3n 03-01-2013 12:14 PM

i was using 87 in my gsxr400, gonna give 91 a try, i used that in my gsxr750 and my friend's cbr900rr

bcrdukes 03-01-2013 04:19 PM

Carb on my SR500 was dyno tuned for 91 octane.

z3german 03-01-2013 06:56 PM

i just use the highest octane available. but ill pass on 89 D: My bike is a gas snob

Raid3n 03-01-2013 10:36 PM

i want to get my bike dyno tuned but i need to wait until i replace my exhaust... it's going to be a pain finding one for my bike :c
