I park it out front and they see lots of ppl checking it out and taking pics ( which is fine) but now also a bunch of fuckers who sit on it. They lean on it an even tilt it off the kickstand. One person said they watched someone sitting AND smoking on it. I've noticed over the last two weeks there are a bunch of scratches on my seat and battery box.

So, is there anything i can actually do? I've been told even a few of the local crack heads have been seen checking it out. So I will start locking it to the bike rack. But is there anything I can do to deter fucks with no manners from sitting on my bike? Maybe a note or something stuck To the seat

Disc lock won't work...ruckus has front drum brakes.

Gorilla 1 way alarm, $80 on amazon. Has tilt sensor, 2 stage shock sensor. Works really well.

I have a front disc conversion just FYI so yes that would work

I name it the RuckusRR.

Only thing I will change on it is the exhaust and custom make a manifold to go under the seat, maybe some weight reduction but overall stock!

Centre exit exhaust baby.

Question for the tire experts. I have about 4000 km on my supercorsas, and during a s2s it felt like my rear tire was slipping a lot during turns, maybe just a bit after tip-in.

I always take the time to warm the tires, etc. However it seems like lately the rubber is harder. Do you think it is time for a replacement? Did I heat cycle out?

I have taken the tires to the track, however repeated city riding to work has given me a flat spot.

Any input is appreciated!

How old is the tire?

Also you can go to a parking lot and do figure "8's" for about half an hour to even out the tire.

Also if/when you get a new tire figure 8's for 20-30 minutes is a good way to get the coating off the tire.

^ Thanks for the advice

Tire was purchased in February. Will have to read the factory date, but shouldn't be too old.

I'll put some time to even them out today and see if that brings back some confidence.

Cheers!

im going to guess that tires were not warmed up, you have plenty of thread looking at that pic

I'm no tire expert, but did you check your tire pressure? Also, can your suspension set up affect the way it wears out?

I'm inclined to think it was this. I really do take the time to warm up the tires but today I decided to get rid of my flat spot, and it was a good 15-20km of highway riding before they were good. When the tires were newer it was maybe half that distance in the same conditions.

Thanks, I check pressures all the time and that was not the culprit. My suspension has been set up for me as well :-)

Regardless, I took a look at my rear wear bars and I am actually right on them! My picture is deceptive because the middle tread wear bar is 2mm away, while the side wear bar is flush :-(

So probably it is a mix of tire wear and not a proper warm up.

Thanks all

Aww... I was riding this early afternoon to pick up some more cat food. A man outside his house was doing yard work, but turned around to give me the finger as I rolled by -_-

Then about a half hour later on my way home I passed him again, he just stood there and gave me the thousand yard stare. I was only going 50km/h :(

You should have cruised back nice and slow on the way back with your finger out the whole way.:lawl:

Just got home, and noticed my ruck is absolutely puking coolant. Can't pinpoint from where though. Lower rad hose is wet, but so is behind the radiator and all around the radiator shroud and all on the stator (that's probably why I no longer have a working electric start) it is a sealed system, and when I opened the radiator cap it made ALOT of gurgling sound, but no overflow as if it was overheated.

I'll post some pics, but my iPhone refused to focus before taking the flash pic.

It gets even better!

I come down to my bike now (taking out the garbage) and my bike cover is soaked in urine! I live in a secured underground parkade. From the consistency of it though I'd say it was someone's large dog that they were walking through the parkade.

What kind of sickness piece of shit lets their animal (or themselves) piss all over another mans automotive. I'm pretty fucking pissed

Lucky you had a cover on. It could have been worse and be all inside your ruckus. Would not smell good in the heat or when ur riding.

i don't understand how people think sometimes. i was driving a little ahead of a car in the lane beside me, then the car got a little ahead of me and i was in his blind spot and he starts to change lanes so i honk and he goes back over. like wtf man you know i was in that lane and just because you don't see me you think i magically vanished instead of shoulder checking to make sure.

then the other day some fucker on the highway just lazily starts to cut me off, i honk and he looks directly at me and proceeds to cut me off....
