the lcd may have been knocked loose i remember my cousins e72 had that happen he dropped it and the lcd wouldnt turn on so i opened it up to replace the lcd (bought a new one) and found that the cable was just knocked out

this phone is looking pretty good and definitely worth to consider.

November, exclusively for Rogers (for now) and only in Black. I'm quite disappointed by this limitation in colour. This will be bad for Nokia in Canada. Hopefully this is like the Galaxy Nexus where it was exclusive to Bell only for a few weeks.

Well the Microsoft stores that they're putting up across canada (2 in bc; oakridge and metrotown) will likely have the lumias for sale and hopefully in all the colours

when approx are these 2 Microsoft stores going to open? this phone might be worth checking out.

Yep Oct.26 along with the sale of the Microsoft Surface RT. Rumored pricing for the RT is around $399 (with the Pro version coming later in the year/next year for around $799). The RT version comes with Microsoft Office included, so I believe that's a steal. The Pro's specs are better but I personally can't justify paying near the price of an ultrabook for a tablet.

Pro also runs anything windows 8 runs. RT can only run apps made for RT. $400 is to much for RT when companies will be making tablets with Intel Atom CPUs for the same price.

It's hard to say. As mentioned earlier, the Microsoft stores may carry coloured unlocked versions when the time comes (probably along with HTC/Samsung WP8 phones)

and you might find them at the Microsoft pop-up stores, not confirmed, but at the microsoft stores in the states you were able to get the first gen lumias unlocked

The Microsoft booths have a nice clean presentation for the Surface.

I played around with a dummy model of the Lumia 920 at Rogers today. I can finally be free of Samsung's obvious plastic :sweetjesus:

Although, I can't decide between waiting for a Cyan colour or going with the Black colour (seeing how all Surface tablets will be black minus the cover)

i like the grey 920 but it looks like that's going to be the rarest (no1s getting it)

iirc wp8 is supposed to allow downloading of language packs but it was during a time when i had very very little interest for wp

Omg the cyan has a matte/satin finish like the grey and black. I think ima wait for it.

Dang the Lumia looks promising... too bad my contract is not up until next year.
